Voter demographics of every state

In 2020, 158.4 million citizens—almost two-thirds of estimated eligible voters—voted in the presidential elections, according to the Pew Research Center. The number represented a higher than average turnout, with people voting in numbers not seen since 1980 and possibly well before.

Like many other states, Michigan residents, regardless of sex, age, race, and education do not brand themselves by a political party when they register to vote. In 2020, up to 75% of Michigan residents were white, nearly 15% more than the national average of 60.4%. In the 2016 presidential election, Great Lake State residents turned out to vote at 64.3%, compared to the U.S. average of 61.4%.

Oregon’s minority population is much smaller than other U.S. regions. The Beaver State’s largest city, Portland, which is noted as the “Whitest City in America,” is notorious for minority exclusion, as further revealed in Oregon’s low minority voter populations, including Asian and Hispanic groups.
Voter Demographics of Every State | Stacker

The whitest state in the 50 US (Oregon) states voted Democrat Potus down to Reagan in 1984.

Seems that almost 2/3 voted in the election of 2020 , you know it will be less in the 2024 election with the voter suppression going on in all the red states. A little over half of the voters elect the Potus in most elections.

Its apparent the black vote didn’t matter in the vote for tramp in MI.

It's time to disband the EC, 48 states are winner take all anyway,

The only two are Nebraska and Maine.

Clearly voting makes no difference, just as there is little difference between Don and Joe. Why do so many Americans believe in fairy tales?

Left wing logic…the election of 2020 was pure as the driven snow. Not a smidgen of fraud. However…The red states are imposing voter suppression laws to prevent Ds from voting.

You can’t make this shit up!
Just out of curiosity...

How do such laws prevent minority voters from participating?

Minority Folk are every bit as capable of getting their a$$e$ to the polls in-person on Election Day as White Folk.

Minority Folk are every bit as capable of producing a Voter ID at the polling place as White Folk.

If you want to vote, you have to abide by the guidelines laid down by your home State, to which each-and-every voter, regardless of race, etc., subscribes.

Where is the suppression in that?

Personally, I'm all in favor of nationwide and universal Electronic Online Voting, with appropriate controls, but, for those States desiring a 'traditional' venue... I'm OK with that.

It's just amazing how people forget all the other times votes were corrupted and altered.

Demographics are bullshit. They are generalities, not actual counts. More like best guesses, which doesn't do anybody any good, only spreads MORE DementocRat misinformation!!!

Id be ok with getting away from the "winner take all" thing. If electors were awarded proportionally it would have basically the same effect.

Why aren't the libs actually WORKING on disbanding the electoral college with a Constitutional Amendment?

Campaigning in the states to explain their point to get 3/4 to agree?

All I've seen is a bullshit electoral college "compact" proposed to try and weasel around the Constitution.

Like Bush Jr. he won the state of Fl by less than 600 votes, as his brother was the governor.
Can you say cheating.

States change over time electorally.

Take West Virginia, a state BTW with a lot of Honkies.

In the 1990's , they voted for Slick WIlly twice, in 1988 they even voted for the Hapless Leftist Mikey Dukakis. Now, they are one of the nation's most patriotic states.

Turnarounds happen. And your attempt to make this about "racial identity" is quite frankly, disgusting and racist.

Lot of the red states don't have a high turnout. At least in 2020.

NY and CA are lower than you'd think too.

Sure it does…you’d have 2 million less beaners in your lap had Trump won.
Do you need more examples of how voting makes a difference or will you elect to keep your head buried deep in your fence-sitting ass?

I knew the lies would start coming, you waited until later in the post but you did get the lies in, good job.

They just need to spend a little more money and tax us a little more while giving government a little more power over our lives and it will all finally work out

Really.

Except there wasn't any, just like there was no cheating in 96, 04, 08, 12, 16 and 2020, can you say delusional?
