Nor is there any requirement that all board appointees be Democrats. In fact, Democrats frequently appoint Republicans to office because the WANT input from everyone. Especially a man who has won awards for his work in the labor field.

The suspect, who vehemently opposed abortion, murdered the woman who lead the Pro-Choice movement in the state. He had a list of abortion providers and clinics on his kill list. And he voted for Trump, accordingly to family and friends.
