Lincoln would've totally retweeted a video of him hitting his opponent from 11 months ago with a golf ball. (PS his swing ain't all that) Trump Tweets Today | Latest Trump Tweets | Trump Tweets Today
Well, slavery was really big in the Democratically controlled South back then too.
Times change. People change. Presidents change.

I prefer a president who can relate to the average American over an elitist prick who constantly sides with our enemies.
Fair enough. Slapstick is indeed a crowd pleaser. Some people even liked Benny Hill. Neither are high up on my list of priorities for a president though.
You must prefer a slick, pre-packaged, bullshit artist that reads everything from a teleprompter and never wants anyone to know what he really thinks.
Nope. I prefer someone who looks ahead and engages all Americans in the great things that America can do. Rather than tweeting stupid criticisms and slams maybe he could energize Americans around some optimistic vision for America. Like Reagan did.
So you want Trump to be someone else?
Sorry, but Reagan isn't around. We have to settle for what's out there.
Considering the lousy options in Washington I prefer someone who's a real person, not a lying two-faced politician.

Didn't Obama regularly appear on late-night comedy shows?
I'm not defending Obama I couldn't stand him. But I don't recall him showing videos of knocking John McCain over with a golf ball. Maybe he did and I missed it.
Nope. Obama just spent all of his time bad-mouthing Sean Hannity and GWB
Oh. Yhats the same thing as showing videos of hitting them with golf balls.

No. Let him be himself. He seems to enjoy that. You seem to enjoy that. Some of us don't enjoy it so much that we have to justify every tasteless thing he does.

FYI, I remember the press using that excuse to exonerate Spike Lee when he retweeted what he thought was George Zimmerman's address.

If you don't like him you don't have to vote for him.
You can vote for all of the other fakes like Hillary, Bernie, and Liz Warren.

Right. I criticize him and am therefore a Democrat.

Let me make it simple. We all voted for him knowing he was kind of a boorish buffoon but voted for him anyway because we hated Hillary or Washington or politicians in general and were willing to take the buffoonery because he spoke our minds.

But some of us are willing to continue to look critically at him, give him praise where he deserves it, and criticism where we believe it is warranted.

Others among us, like you, seem to think everything he does is perfect. Only one person walked the earth that meets that standard. And he's been gone for 2000 years.

I think we lose our democracy if we fail to be critical. That is a quintessentially American value. You believe in something else. That's your right. But it doesn't seem conservative to me.

Spike Lee? You're going Spike Lee on me to excuse the President retweeting this video? That's hilarious.

Sorry, but you and I both know how easy it is to retweet something.
What does a retweet mean.
Apparently it means something totally different for the left when it's a Republican or a Democrat.

Democrats retweet not because they sort of agree with something. They aren't the original tweeter so they are blameless.

Republicans retweet because they agree with the original tweet and they're all just evil rotten bastards anyway, so it's an understanding that even a retweet means that they originated the tweet.

Yes.
In 8 track and cassette as well as CD.

But I'm just throwing you'alls logic back at you.

Eight track? Heh.

You don't read posts, do you? I'm a conservative who is willing to question anyone at any time, even a President for whom I voted. You on the other hand engage in liberal tactics of "they did it first (Spike Lee? I'm still chuckling)" and "he's a guy just like me" and the ultimate, "if you disagree or even mildly criticize him, you must be a Democrat." To me, not everything President Trump does is perfect. You think it is. We disagree.

That's your right. It's also the kind of thinking that leads to a Cult of Personality. That's your choice. This is America and you're entitled.

He did make fun of that asshole John Boner. BO had no class, but the elitist Bolshevik.01% media sure made it look like he had class. They duped millions.

I think you guys are taking this stuff way more serious than you need to Hillary is out on her book tour taking shots at Trump and anyone else she can think of to blame her lose on so he took one back with the retweet big deal.

She's a joke. Always was. He's the President. There is, in fact, a difference in their relative statures.

A new low!!! The whole world is laughing...at this low level president.

He is going to fire back if someone takes a shot at him he has been this way long before he ever ran for President that's who he is people can either ***** about it or accept it either way it's not going to change just because he's now president.

I think this tweet is pretty idiotic:
trump-rocket-dick.webp
Not only unfitting for a world leader to be calling other heads of state names like "Rocket Man", but also the gas line thing is totally idiotic, especially since most people in NK don't have cars.

I would assume a world leader making a tweet like that is either on drugs or has some sort of mental problem.

And that golf ball tweet tops them all. I can't see how all those Republicans can stand this type of idiocy, with this idiot in the White House.
