I just found out that Florida doesn't allow convicted felons to run for public office . Sounds like trump just lost Florida completely. My state , also GOP dominated is quickly trying to change it's laws so trump can be on the ballot here. Not going to work. We 're on to them.

The law doesn't specify who you're electing for either state or federal office , it simply says convicted felons aren't allow to be on Florida election ballots. Why do you suppose Marchand does not want to sentence Trump?

In order to sentence, the judge would have to enter a judgment of conviction and that would make Trump a convicted felon. He doesn't want to do that.
