Complete absurdity. Brandishing a weapon will be either a misdemeanor or a felony, depending on circumstances and law. Homicide during commission of a felony can be felony murder; during a violent misdemeanor, it can be voluntary manslaughter. Either way, hoody boy brought the weapon and brandished the weapon.
