His lawyer also had something to work with. Allison was cornered in a bathroom and attacked by his bully. Anthony stepped into another team and school's tent to instigate a fight and even made his deadly intentions known ahead of time. Because you have a very similar case with Caysen Allison, who got 10 years (after the jury recommended a mere two) for knifing a kid to death.


Actually, it's very appealable. Batson, Flowers, there've been a whole series of decisions that convicting a black person after excluding blacks from a jury is unacceptable.

Not to mention... it's just a bad look.

He got 10 years under very different circumstances. Whites who commit the same insanely dumb crimes, with zero defense, will more often than not have the books thrown at them just the same.

Appellate courts do not reverse convictions simply because the jury didn't have any black jurors sitting on it. lol

Jason Van Dyke - Pumps sixteen rounds into a Laquan McDonald, only got three years.

The thing is, I wouldn't use a slur when doing it. It would be cold and calculating, and I wouldn't worry about 30 years because I probably won't live that long. I'm at the age where you stop being polite and life in prison just isn't that big of a threat.

But a guy who says shit like "Watermelon Felon" is probably a guy who says much worse around the house, and no doubt that's where his boys picked that shit up.
