I wanted to start this title but it already exists in this 5 year old post so sorry for bumping it years later, I did not want to replicate this title. This has always been one of the most powerful passages and I personally interpret this as meaning "do not seek revenge, remain a person of truth and principle and justice will be done through divine means". If the righteous are not protected and properly avenged, what would this say about G-ds will?
