OK, there was no abuse of workers before labor laws. Our environment was not nearly destroyed. Banks thrvied and collapsed for years before banking regulations. And they still thrive and collapse with banking regulations.
Russia had the tightest controls on business. And their environmental pollution far exceeded anything seen in this country. They also abused workers, like killing kulaks in the Ukraine.
So really capitalism doesnt produce those evils. Socialism or the lack of capitalism produces them.
