There’s one glaring omission l thought about. And earlier today, l got the explanation. A shocking lapse of security at the Magdeburg Christmas Market.

As follows: throughout Germany, there are square concrete blocks, with chains, standing guard outside every entrance to events, markets, fests etc. Nowhere could a vehicle get through. It was almost fail safe. But in this case, an exit route (maybe for deliveries) had been left open. Had this been sealed off, this terrible tragedy would not have occurred .
