No not just because of women driving. There’s been a massive reform in Saudi since the past five years. Sure there are still issues… People sometimes like to laugh at it but it’s a step in the right direction. Women and men can date each other not just being married. So anytime there’s progress it’s something to look at.I don't see or have heard of any proof/confirmation in regards to such a claim.
From what I know he is a Muslim - and is supposedly rejecting Saudi Wahabism, like hundreds of Millions of other Muslims.
Because they allowed for women to drive a car?
or:
Saudi prosecutors recently accused women's rights activist Manahel al-Otaibi of launching a "propaganda campaign", citing social media posts in which she challenged the guardianship laws and what she described as continued forced wearing of the abaya.
Otaibi was referred to the Specialised Criminal Court, which tries terrorism cases and last year sentenced Leeds University PhD student Salma Al-Shehab to 34 years' in jail for tweets critical of the government.
Mental breakdown - yup one that any non-treated psycho will eventually face, and thus will act accordingly.
So i’ve seen people crack jokes at Saudi Arabia(not saying you) for saying “oh women can finally drive after 1000 years” But that is misplaced. Because historically again culture operate differently throughout the world. I mean there are men in the west who think Women should be in the kitchen and raising kids….not working
Not every country in the world operates the same way. These things don’t just happen overnight. ….also There’s female doctors and lawyers and females working in the most prestigious positions in Saudi. Women now don’t have to cover their hair in Arabia. I think there’s a lot of misinformation going on with regards to that country.
I heard the guy is now an atheist with regards to the guy that committed the terror attack in Germany….seems like he hated Germany’s immigration laws more than Saudi Arabia. Guy was highly educated though he wasn’t some kind of a laborer. It certainly is a bizarre case and there’s a lot of questions that need to be answered.
"Islamophobic Saudi Atheist" was behind Germany Christmas market attack - The Economic Times
A car-ramming attack at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, claimed five lives and injured over 200. Authorities identified the suspect as Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, a Saudi psychiatrist residing in Germany for 20 years, known for his anti-Islam views and criticism of German refugee policies.
