These things don’t just happen overnight. ….also There’s female doctors and lawyers and females working in the most prestigious positions in Saudi. Women now don’t have to cover their hair in Arabia. I think there’s a lot of misinformation going on with regards to that country.

I have (still am) spend around 15 years in Muslim countries - Foremost South-East-Asia, and Middle-east.
If there is a women clad in Black - fully covered, and trotting behind a man wearing boxer-shorts and a Versace shirt with an outside temperature showing 36 Celsius - in e.g. KL Malaysia - you can be almost sure it's a Saudi Couple.

It would be great if Muslim countries in general would start to propagate/promote a more equality lifestyle - but I have serious doubts.
Just look at Turkey - a secular State that sports a large openness in the posh areas of it's major cities and tourist areas, - whilst being culturally/religiously totally backward in it's rural areas and small towns/cities - aka in it's majority.

Oh I agree there are still issues in Saudi Arabia. But it has advanced tremendously in the past five years so that’s the point I was making.

Iranians I’ve spoken with about 75% of them saying they prefer the era of the shah.
