According to Barry (and snowflake supporters) taking millions of dollars in small, un-marked, foreign bills on an unmarked plane in the middle of the night to a location where US hostages are on a plane waiting for verification of payment before being allowed to leave is NOT 'paying a ransom'.

I am glad you did not try to refute the existence of the WH memo in which Barry called on his agencies to make the shutdown as painful as possible.
Closing parks, open-air closing memorials, and even trying to close famous landmarks that the federal govt did not even own - yes, that's all part of it.
'Denying services'? There's that 'fear-mongering BS' we have all come to know and love!
Do you know we JUST had TWO (in some cases only 1) 'government shut-downs'? There's called 'Federal Holidays'. The same things that happen during Federal Holidays happens during a 'govt shutdown'. The same offices closed during a 'shutdown' are closed during a Federal Holiday. Just like with a Federal Holiday, the federal employees DO GET PAID for that time off.
The real embarrassing problem is that Liberals use govt shutdowns as a tool to use on the nation in an attempt to get their way when they do not want to negotiate / compromise....and millions of Americans have been indoctrinated into believing it's the GOP's fault.

That last part - about not knowing what was in his own bill, CAN'T be true because HE told the American people the ACA would pay for itself and would not cost a dime - 2 things that have NEVER EVER happened in history. He also told them they could keep their plan, which he KNEW was a lie because he KNEW he was mandating that ALL Americans have specific health insurance policies that mandated coverages that 99% (estimated) of Americans did not have. They would almost ALL LOSE their plans.
So that leaves being the stupidest M*erF*er to ever sit in the WH or flat out lying his ass off. Which is it?
