How sad. He was indeed memorable in his roles.

Btw, I happened to see him in person one time many years ago, when I worked at the Beverly Center shopping mall in LA. I remember he looked straight at me, from a distance. :)

He was ill and going through treatment when he was in the last top gun movie so I'm sure his last years of his life was filled with pain and suffering... so you guys who give this a "so what or Oh well"... be thankful you haven't been and hope to God you never will be where this man has been...

Yes, Val Kilmer passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 65. His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed that he died of pneumonia. Kilmer had previously battled throat cancer, which significantly impacted his health.
Kilmer was known for his iconic roles in films like Top Gun, Batman Forever, The Doors, and Tombstone. His legacy as an actor remains strong, and many in Hollywood have paid tribute to his talent and contributions."

Your time is closer than you think, everyone’s is. Based on your comments, I’m not hoping it goes well for you in the end.😉
Maybe. Maybe not.

When it’s my time, it’s my time. There’s nothing I can do about it. I’ll deal with it when the time comes.

Hackman , Foreman and now Val

I never went to see a movie because of any of them, and I don't know if you know this, but since their death, there has come out some really strange revelations and questions about just what happened at the Hackman's.

He was interesting in the movie The Doors in which he played Jim Morrison. People want freedom and good health. As we age, our bodies which once were such an asset can betray us.

He was great in tombstone. Did ok in batman. I think Batman is a hard role for a lot of people.

He couldn't have been very old.
