But if the price of electricity was as cheap as it was (yes; even accounting for inflation) then without the subsidy it would have been a no-brainer to NOT get it. Same with petrol here; make the fuel hellishly expensive to "promote" electric vehicles. Frankly Govs using those tactics for some green agenda are disgusting!!
