New York Times app Wordle is a daily game where you try to guess
the five-letter word with real time hints they provide you.
The twenty-volume Oxford English Dictionary reportedly has 171,000
five-letter words. You get six tries in Wordle.

I did it in two today, starting with HEART and got the answer on
my second try. It will knock you over.

Your brain is like a muscle. It too needs exercise to stay strong.

Engage in as much reading as you can, especially that of the analytical, data laden variety.

Also, get rid of calcium within the brain arteries. Sketchy science behind it and if anyone can find more hard science I greatly welcome it here, but apparently K2 with D3 is a stack that decreases or minimizes calcium blockage in the arteries.

If your current friends aren't exercizing your brain, you need new friends.

Since starting it in April, 2022, I have gotten the word of the day forty-six times on my second try, and 145 times on my third try. It's pretty cool to get it second or third try.

You should also do Connections, a four by four square of words that "connect" in some way which you have to figure out. It gets progressively harder from yellow, to green, to blue to purple.

Today's Connections:

I always ask a tennis partner to pick the first word and go from there. Sometimes when the word seems to have few of the most common letters, it is a remarkably good starter word, as these three show.

Richard Dawkins' silly computer "simulation" of evolutionary "selection" would never get one word in only six tries, much less two or three.

Studying the words is nice, but as for me - studying languages is much more entertaining. Duolingo, for instance is the pretty useful game.

My favorite courses in the game.

I have accumulated 40 Second Guess Wordles and 157 Third Guess Wordles since my first game.

Some great Wordles would be EERIE, ENNUI and FLUFF.

Duplicates make it harder but imagine trips!

Wordle gets easier with practice. Find one critical letter location and next letter or letters fall into place.

Today double THREE solutions in Wordle and Wordley. 189 and 190 THREES now.

I play wordle with friends...I seem to be the slow one...I normally use all lines getting it on the 6th...and I have found wordle unlimited which I like to pass time with...now connections is a total bitch..it is suppose to get easier

seems the beginning word is a source of great pride to players....I love the fact they want to keep it secret as they tell you what their favorite starting word is

I asked one of my tennis partners to type in the first word.
He chose CLOUD.

In thirty seconds, I had it.

After finishing this in 30 seconds, I started Wordley myself and the 2 in the E simplified the solution.
SEVER was the first word that came to mind and it was so, in another 30 seconds. Not every day can one get three on both of these.

Don't read a freaking book, just play an inane newspaper game while you take a break from playing cell phone games. The secret to gen X success.

Wordle and 247Wordley.com are excellent mind exercises. I try to figure out the word of the day by the third entry.
In February, I got fifteen threes and one two on the last day. I started out March 1, today, with four green letters on Wordle but due to the number of possibilities, it took me four tries. Going to 247Wordley, I got that on the third try!
