Getting Wordle in 4 is a disappointment.
Getting it in 3 is exciting.
Getting it in 2, as I did today, is almost unbelievable.

Richard started with TODAY and suggested DOLLY.
Instead I went for DOPEY and whattya know!

Tennis partner Tom started the round with CHORE.
I thought S would be a great starting letter and E a logical vowel Wordto follow SH.
SHELL occurred to me but a double letter wastes time if it's incorrect, so I went with SHELF and was amazed to find it worked.

Then came 247Wordley and my tennis partner, Thai started it out.

I followed up quickly and to my surprise, the superscript 2 made it much easier:

Once in a lifetime event. Yesterday's Wordle solution was the homophone of Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Never before and never again will there be a daily Wordle sounding exactly like a university. "Sorbonne"? I don't think so. "Harvard"? "Dartmouth"? Only Baylor could do it, so I emailed the president and all her listed staff, just for fun. The students should get a kick out of that. They're famous!

It's not so difficult to get the Word of the Day on Wordle by your third try, or even your second try.
Two threes in one day, though, is pretty rare. Rarer yet, my daughter and I got the same solutions yesterday after I called her to sggest the starting word! Then my coffee klatch friend, Mike, gave me the 247Wordley first word and whattya know.
Another three. Exercise your mind. Keep it strong.

I'm disappointed to get Wordle in four or more tries.
I'm amazed to get it in two or three tries.
I'm astounded to get both in two or three tries the same day, and asking tennis partners to guess first word seems to work out very well for some strange reason.

Last month I had two 2's and eighteen 3's.

This morning, three and then a two.
