I recently read that Jackson, Mississippi, held the record of most murders (after taking into account its population).

And to think that Jackson used to be a nice, pleasant, and orderly city.

Of course, that also once went for Chicago & Baltimore & Minneapolis, and ...

Oh, well.

How did St. Louis wind up with a white police union and a black police union? That sounds bizarre on the face of it, no matter what color your face is. If St. Louis thinks it can shut down an aging workhouse city prison and spread the people awaiting trial to other facilities, saving money, they might or might not. I have no idea. If that workhouse is under the law enforcement budget and the savings are realized (and that is an "if") 2.3% might be saved and budgeted to other things. I wish them luck.

Good. Get rid of all the police and when it goes to shit show the whole country what happens with no police.

Then build a wall around it and throw in all the career criminals and people who don't like america.

Then put in video cameras, sell viewership as pay per view and put the funds into public school systems.
