US to work with Palestinians

Washington - The United States said on Monday it intends to work with the new Palestinian unity government and will continue to disburse aid to the Palestinian Authority but will monitor its policies.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas swore in a unity government on Monday in a reconciliation deal with Hamas Islamists, who advocate Israel's destruction.

“Based on what we know now we intend to work with this government but will be watching closely to ensure that it upholds principles that President Abbas reiterated today,” State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told a briefing. “But we will continue to evaluate the composition and policies of the new government and calibrate our approach accordingly.”

I will be curious to see just how far this goes, under the auspices of the Obama Administration...

"Unity goverment" for Palestinians. That's a good one. Heh Heh!

Even when the Palestinian's seek peaceful, non-violent means for solving their disputes, they're still treated like a suicide bomber by the Israeli cabel.

One would think choosing political avenues over violent ones would be applauded, but not with this group. You can tell from the comments in their posts, the Israeli kiss-ass committee, wants no part of peace.

When has Hamas ever sought peaceful means to anything?

We have a president that's friends with The Muslim Brotherhood, and he has a staff that has close ties to Hamas, and he goes around Congress and starts setting murdering terrorists free, and you feel we're the bad guys.

What is wrong with you people?

I guess you forgot about Nick Berg, who decided to collaborate with these oxygen thieves.

Maybe we should just forget about what is right and what is wrong and let you traitors have your way. Just agree with Obama and let him open our borders so the Mullahs can all come in and start bombing the hell out of everyone here in the states. I wonder why nobody in my town is a foolish as you Obama supporters. Even the blacks won't defend his treasonous ass anymore.

Yet you see nothing wrong with us bombing the hell out of them?

When has Hamas ever sought peaceful means to anything?
In 2008, when they unilaterally honored a ceasefire for 4 months until the Israeli's ran a commando raid into Gaza.
It wasn't unilateral.

It was an Egyptian-arranged ceasefire.

Both sides observed it.

Until Israel identified a tunnel being used by Hamas, to infiltrate into Israeli territory, and then sent-in a small force to destroy the tunnel on the Gazan end, in order to teach a lesson about such treachery.

Hamas fired on the Israelis, and Hamas got the worst of the exchange.

Had they not been digging tunnels, in order to sneak into Israel, the IDF would not have conducted that raid.

It all goes back to the idiots in Hamas, making very bad choices.

Then again, the Palestinians have made soooooo many bad choices, what's one more?

You know, I'm actually getting worried about that so-called 'Administration' in Washington, when we see it 'manifesting' in such ways...

How about in the last Palestinian election when they machine gunned Fatah supporters in the streets?
These people are animals and should be dealt with that way.

Why do we even care? What business do we have in any of this bullshit? None.

Ron Paul is right.

And these are the people that Obama wants to 'do business with'?

Unbelievable... just unbelievable.

Hurry, January 20, 2017...

Two wrongs do not make a right. Besides, Obama has done both.
Obama is bombing them and collaborating with them.

P.S.:

Dear "Administrator:"

Why, whyja hafta do it ? Change the message board and add all these ...these red links with dash-dots underneath them and other unnecessary stuff.
So far, as I'm reading or going to back to main board, all of a sudden a noisy, yackity-yack video starts playing (i didn't click on NO arrow button to play it).

Why, why killer do I have to be subjected to instantaneous videos playing in the background ? other places too, have been implementing this ...annoying new thing.

so, is this permanent ? i guess besides not posting here anymore, how do I NOT be subjected to having your Videos play-out-of-nowhere-in-the-background ?

Administrator, can't you turn it off ?

It's ruining my quiet time here ...

For us it means that Abu Mazen will be responsible for every rocket fired, and Tzipitput Livni can cease her moronic saying of "The rocket launching terrorists are not the ones we negotiate with..."

Now all are labeled as bloodthirsy terrorists, and cards are finally on the table

When sane Muslims in Egypt declair Hamas a terror organization, and peace-loving friendly America embraces them, that is the moment any sane guy should say "You people are idiots"

Peoples and groups turn to violence when they are EXCLUDED and they know that by democratic vote they should be INCLUDED. For decades Fateh was the single biggest Palestinian group by far, knew darn well they had the support of the overwhelming majority of Palestinians and so should be included but weren't, and so violent resistance was the backbone of their program. Now they are included and have become basically a political party. It was the same with Irgun/Stern gang/Haganah during Israel's formation. So if Hamas is included .... ? They definitely have the cred, garnered the vast majoprity of the vote in the last election, and so if we mean it when we say "democracy" then they should be heard. But will they want to be brought into a processs such as this?

Those of you who are old enough might remember the scandal of the decade about maybe 12 (?) years ago when it was revealed In Ha'aretz, J'lem Post, etc, that Israel had been bankrolling Hamas. Bet they regret that now.
