Well, knowing Trump, if I had to guess, folks in his cabinet looked at the annual cost of dealing with aides disease in this country, calculated what the saving would be if we curbed HIV over there in Africa, and came up with a figure of 1.6 billion to reach that goal, then figured out that we could save far more on HIV by being proactive and treating it in Kenya first.

So while we might be spending a lot in the short term, the savings in life and money could be worth it in the long term. We shall now see.

Of course, this will mean nothing to all the usual TDS ranters who jump at every action by Trump to attack and criticize him denouncing him as a failure before he even begins, calling for a return to democrat policies.

Can you imagine if voters had been this terse in 2021 to 2023 while Joe Biden prevailed over $8.00/gallon gasoline, triple rent prices double energy prices, and $7.00/dozen eggs?
