Context, darlin’. A bit of history for you. Putin believes that Ukraine is still a part of the Russian federation. A portion of the Ukie population believes that. Tactically, Putin invaded under a weak and waffling Biden, so in that sense, Putin’s invasion was tactically a success, especially since appeasement minded Biden advised Putin that a minor incursion was acceptable.

Putin invaded a sovereign country under dubious pretenses and is an international parish, regardless of what the apologists say.

Whether I like it or not, Ukraine may have to concede to an independent and neutral Donbass “republic” of sorts. Ultimately, this is a reflection of historical, European wars of culture clashes. Do you know anything about Kosovo?
