Context, darlin’. A bit of history for you. Putin believes that Ukraine is still a part of the Russian federation. A portion of the Ukie population believes that. Tactically, Putin invaded under a weak and waffling Biden, so in that sense, Putin’s invasion was tactically a success, especially since appeasement minded Biden advised Putin that a minor incursion was acceptable.
