US invasion of Iraq ended our right to condemn Russia over Crimea.

if you're black and being killed off by genocidal extremists in Africa, you are on your own. ..

It was a Republican president who did more for the people of Africa than any democrat ever has or will. In fact, the history of the democrat party most certainly does not measure up well regarding the people of Africa or their descendants in America.

Biased and open to debate.

From what I undertand, Bush is a hero in africa. Too bad the same nannot be said about America.

Not by any reasonable person.

So far as violating sovereignty is concerned, Russia would point out that the U.S. invaded Panama to arrest Noriega, invaded Grenada to prevent American citizens from being taken hostage (even though they had not been taken hostage), invaded Iraq on spurious grounds that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction, targets people in other countries with drones, etc., etc. In other words, for the U.S. to preach about respect for sovereignty and preservation of territorial integrity to a Russian president can seem a claim to special rights not allowed others.

Because of George Dumbya Bush's epic trillion dollar blood soaked mistake, we now cannot rightfully condem Russia's invasion of Crimea. Quoting Sec. Kerry, "You just don’t invade another country on phony pretext in order to assert your interests.". True. But now it's rather laughable, no thanks to the Neoconista Armchair Warriors who screwed up the Iraq war & occupation.

The horrible consequences of the eight year failed Presidency of George Dumbya will be long lasting.

Vietnam. 59,000 americans killed.

The fact is GW Bush gave more money for AIDS relief in Africa than all of the other presidents combined. Just one more thing liberals claim to care so much about, but in reality could not possibly care any less.

Virtually everything liberals claim to care about (where they feign outrage and hold endless rallies), they could not care much less about. They stand for nothing. From wars, to the environment, etc etc etc. They get all worked up into a frenzy, pat each other on the back and act like they did something, remain as nothing but little pawns for the left wing commie politicians. The funny thing is watching these assholes pretend to care, and how they convince themselves that they care.

Examples:

Anyone remember watching these snot nosed cocksuckers holding protests when Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act for WMDs and then bombed Baghdad? Neither do I.

Anyone remember any of these pieces of shit protest when Clinton appointed 4 no-bid contracts to Halliburton in the 90s? Neither do I.

Anyone see code stink holding daily protests over Gitmo still being open, considering their black president with a white mother (same as Zimmerman) promised them he would close it? Cause it is still open.......6 years later. Just something else they held big rallies and protests....and are now silent as hell.

Hell, I think they think they are actually doing something for the environment cause they attend an earth day concert. I think they think they are doing something for the environment if they spent a whole week at one of these benefits shitting and pissing in a field.

Here is a list of women that claimed sexual assault of Bill Clinton. Do any of you recall the liberal organization NOW (National Organization of "liberal" Women) attacking Bill Clinton for these?

Eileen Wellstone, 19-year-old English woman who said
Clinton sexually assaulted her after she met him at a pub near
the Oxford where the future President was a student in 1969.

In 1972, a 22-year-old woman told campus police at Yale
University that she was sexually assaulted by Clinton, a law student
at the college. No charges were filed, but retired campus policemen
contacted by Capitol Hill Blue confirmed the incident.

In 1974, a female student at the University of Arkansas
complained that then-law school instructor Bill Clinton tried
to prevent her from leaving his office during a conference. She
said he groped her and forced his hand inside her blouse.

From 1978-1980, during Clinton’s first term as governor
of Arkansas, state troopers assigned to protect the governor were
aware of at least seven complaints from women who said Clinton
forced, or attempted to force, himself on them sexually. One retired
state trooper said in an interview that the common joke among
those assigned to protect Clinton was "who’s next?".

One former state trooper said other troopers would often escort
women to the governor’s hotel room after political events, often
more than one an evening;

Carolyn Moffet, a legal secretary in Little Rock in 1979,
said she met then-governor Clinton at a political fundraiser and
shortly thereafter received an invitation to meet the governor
in his hotel room. "I was escorted there by a state trooper.
When I went in, he was sitting on a couch, wearing only an undershirt.

Elizabeth Ward, the Miss Arkansas who won the Miss America
crown in 1982, told friends she was forced by Clinton to have
sex with him shortly after she won her state crown. Last year,
Ward, who is now married with the last name of Gracen (from her
first marriage), told an interviewer she did have sex with Clinton
but said it was consensual.

Paula Corbin, an Arkansas state worker, filed a sexual
harassment case against Clinton after an encounter in a Little
Rock hotel room where the then-governor exposed himself.

Sandra Allen James, a former Washington, DC, political
fundraiser says Presidential candidate-to-be Clinton invited her
to his hotel room during a political trip to the nation’s capital
in 1991, pinned her against the wall and stuck his hand up her
dress.

Christy Zercher, a flight attendant on Clinton’s leased
campaign plane in 1992, says Presidential candidate Clinton exposed
himself to her, grabbed her breasts and made explicit remarks.

Kathleen Willey, a White House volunteer, reported that
Clinton fondled her against her will during an Oval Office meeting
in November, 1993.

The left wingers of course celebrate those things and accuse right wingers for needlessly accusing him.

These morons still blame Bush for the war, yet the woman they worship propagated WMDs and voted for the war they claim to hate. Yet, she propagated WMDs before BOOOOOSH took office. That is for the predictable morons like swallow (snicker, his username is swallow) that will say those poor democrats were all little victims of the Booooosh, Cheney, Karl Rove war machine.

LOL at their stupidity, and their hypocrisy and especially over the fact they think they are so smart.

By every reasonable person who understands the history of America in the last 60 years.

I agree. Those who live in glass White Houses...

Sadam was shit but he was the cork in the bottle.

a shit cork

In other words - you had nothing to gain financially by the operations in Iraq so you could care less about the millions who suffered unspeakable horrors....

Funny, you cry rivers of tears when it comes to anything that has the potential to line your very greedy (and very lazy) pockets TM. But the moment you have nothing to gain, you literally say "fuck those people - Saddam is a shit cork we need". Un-fucking-believable....

You truly are the poster-child for the modern day disingenuous and selfish liberal.

If there had been no Iraq invasion does anyone think Obama would be doing anything differently in regards to Ukraine if so what?

If there had been no Iraq, then Obama would not be President. It would either be McCain or H. Clinton.

Remember, Hillary Clinton's vote to authorize the stupid blood-soaked Iraq Waste cost her the nomination. Democrats went with Obama because he was publicly outspoken against the Iraq Debacle, and was totally vindicated by it's failure.

It was not a failure. Certainly not until obama decided to squander all we had accomplished there for the sake of what he saw as some short-term political capital.

U.S. Cites 1991 U.N. Cease-Fire Resolution as the Legal Basis for Its Invasion
March 21, 2003

From Reuters

UNITED NATIONS — The United States gave its official reasons for invading Iraq to the U.N. Security Council late Thursday, saying Baghdad had broken a cease-fire resolution adopted after the 1991 Persian Gulf War.

Britain and Australia, two other nations in the U.S.-led coalition, wrote similar, shorter, letters to the 15-member council. None of the letters mentioned "regime change," an aim of the invasion but never authorized in any council resolution.

U.S. Cites 1991 U.N. Cease-Fire Resolution as the Legal Basis for Its Invasion - Los Angeles Times

Recall the UN authorized force by member countries to remove Iraqi forces from Kuwait. Member states were not authorized to invade and occupy Iraqi. President Bush(41) knew what the consequences would be if he had.

Reasons Not to Invade Iraq,

The UN never authorized the US invasion or occupation.

Except that we didn't "invade" Iraq..... :eusa_doh:

What we did was conduct military operations to oust a vicious dictator. We then promptly turned the country over to the Iraqi people.

Not only did we invade Iraq and topple the recognized legitimate Government/Authority there but criminally neglected the security needs of the county once the Government/Authority was toppled. It is the obligation of the occupying power to ensure the safety of the civilian population. Of course the Bush Administration failed horribly at that. That also sparked the ongoing Civil War within 6 months. It was a monumental strategic blunder on our part.
