Slavery is gruesome and immoral no matter what form it takes but enslaving someone, putting a rifle in their hands and ordering them to go murder some other poor sap (who has probably been enslaved by his government) before said sap murders you is exceedingly cruel and unethical. That governments engage in such immoral behavior speaks to the fact that the justification for doing so is so weak that the victims of the "draft" cannot be convinced of the righteousness of the cause through reason and evidence.

As a matter of fact, a Democratic party congressman introduced a bill to institute slavery within the last decade. This is not ancient history, folks. This is current politics and modern history.

Woodrow Wilson (D) instituted slavery in the USA (WWI)

FDR (D) instituted slavery in the USA (WWII) And also enslaved American citizens in concentration camps simply because they had German or Japanese ancestry.

So did Harry Truman (D) (WWII - Korean war) That POS ************ enslaved American citizens too!
