US Boards Tanker Number Three En Route to Venezuela

No. Bella 1 is only in US sanctions list, and Centuries wasn't even in open US lists.

And, of course, US sanctions means nothing in high seas. Anyway, if you continue to do this, China, Russia and many other guys will start arresting (or torpedoing) US ships in high seas, too. And however good is US Fleet it can't protect all US ships.
If China, Russia or anyone touched a US ship, that would end very badly for them. The US is a naval power. China and Russia are continental powers. China in particular is more dependent on importing the stuff they need to grow their own food than any country in history. They know this which is why they ain't gonna do anything about this, at least not militarily.

Venezuela knows this too. The best way to get yourself invaded by the US is to mess with our ships.

By the way, did anyone of your NATO allies openly support those actions? It's rhetoric question.
Here's a rhetorical answer - Monroe Doctrine. Venezuela is in the Western Hemisphere.

Who wants to preserve the life of some drug runner?

It's a hard knock world. About time the gloves came off.
No evidence presented to show they were drug runners. Do you believe everything the government says or does is right and justified, simply because they say it is? I doubt it.

OK. OK. What is it about? It is about government welfare for US petroleum producers, using our military to help control resource price supports. Oil current trading in mid $50 Dollars, yet majority of fields in US costing $60 Dollars to produce. Multiple countries suck as Saudi/OPEC (which have lower production costs) have started back pumping to the world market. World supply is up, so price has been falling. We cannot do anything about Saudis/OPEC, as Donny is in love with the Mad Prince and murderous assholes of a feather, flock together. But, we can do something about the largest reserves in the world, Venezuela (303 Billion barrels), keeping them off the market, to try to support the price at $60 or better. So, we throw smoke in the air about drugs and blow up some boats, then start crap about regime change (even though we are piss poor at successful regime change), but real intent is just to keep that country's oil off the market. To keep US producers pumping and oil crews paid. We can probably forget about "drill baby drill" for a while, as the oil companies have no intention of drilling themselves out of business.
Ummmmm, noooooo. It's about a fleet of tankers violating international sanctions to fund terrorists and asshats, like pootin.

By the vidioes of the Coast guard doing drug interdiction, they approach, by sea or by air, issued instructions to stop. If they do, fine. If not, the boats engines are targeted with automatic weapons fire. When engines stop, the boat stops. This gets mission accomplished, preserves life and preserves evidence.
Are you saying, that does not work, or has the value of human life dropped in the eyes of the Trump administration?
Back to the original question you ignored!

How do you board a speedboat going 40 knots in open water? You have to have them stop first and they refuse. Ever hit a moving target with accuracy not to kill the occupants? Might as well blow their ass out of the water.

That's because you are a moron. You refuse to believe any of the news stories about drugs being found floating in the ocean by other countries? If they aren't carrying drugs, what the **** are they doing? Why are they running?

Your TDS has rotted your brain. Please seek medical help before it is too late!

Sure... You know, Britain also was a super-naval-power. Mistress of seas and all those bollocks. But when they tried establish a naval blokade of their rebellion colonies, Russian Empire and other naval powers declared conception of "armed neutrality" and readiness to defend freedom of navigation by military force. Nowadays, American Navy is numerically strong, but outdated and poorly controlled. And if you violate treaties you signed ... Even your best "friends", like Britain will turn against you. And there are many ways to harm American sea trade.

Venezuela knows this too. The best way to get yourself invaded by the US is to mess with our ships.
Yep. And then Maduro and his cronies get a lot of support and America gets another practically unwinnable war in jungles.
And when Maduro has choice - lose his money and, probably life, or get a lot of money and save his life - the choice is almost obvious.

C'mon. You can't be serious. High seas are high seas where ever they are. Nobody recognises this doctrine of yours as something real.
After all, you don't recognise Russia's and China's right to control Eastern hemisphere.

Whatever they want. High seas are high seas. Two things are prohibited - piracy and slave-trading. Everything else, including cocaine trafficking is absolutely legal.

It's funny how I hear from anti-American posters on youtube and even Twitter suggesting that "China and Venezuela have outsmarted the U.S" and apparently they were using military to protect these oil tankers.

Quite a bold statement when the U.S military lead by Trump and his administration are serious about enforcing these sanctions. The anti-American apologists think they are dealing with a different administration perhaps.
What they are dealing with is a rogue gangster State the sooner they realize it and do something the better.

So in your deranged World the US can steal ships and cargo and no one is supposed to do anything about it are you mad? maybe one of those big dumb carriers should get a missile through it.

Just because you are a lousy shot at a moving target from a moving platform running parallel does not mean everybody is. I, on the other hand was way above average with every machine gun (mounted or dismounted) I ever trained on, or trained others on, on any range I ran. You just don't give a shit, anymore. If somebody is shooting at me, I will admit, the value of their human life becomes Zero. But, you start from the position, of human life worth Zero, be they armed, unarmed or even reflecting any knowledge they suspected somebody was there, preparing to fire. You have seen no Venezuela boats firing or returning fire, that were blown to smithereens down there.

Who said they were running?

I'm sorry, which rebellious colonies (besides the 13 American colonies) did Britain blockade? Because Russia was in no way involved with that, or any other British/UK blockade listed on Wikipedia.

If we went in to take out Maduro, he'd last about 24 hours. He might flee into the jungle, but it's not like we need to do another Iraq. Machado would eagerly step in and we'd withdraw. But Maduro won't do shit. He's a kleptocratic authoritarian monster but he's not crazy.

Ghost fleets fall outside of international law. This is our way of making sure China doesn't try to use it's rare earth monopoly to dominate the world.

So in your <snip> World the US can steal ships and cargo and no one is supposed to do anything about it <snip>? maybe one of those big dumb carriers should get a missile through it.
For 99% of human history, that was the norm. Countries spent vast sums to protect their merchant fleets against piracy. Even superpowers like Britain and France would capture each other's ships. An entire branch of naval law was developed to semi-legalize piracy if only to protect the lives of the sailors whose ships got captured.

Later, the US came along and instituted Freedom Of The Seas. Anyone could take their goods anywhere in the world and sell them, secure in the knowledge that the US would spend vast sums to protect everyone's merchant fleets. It was good, but then America realized we were not only keeping the seas safe for our friends but our enemies who wished for nothing more than to destroy us too.

So. America is getting out of the free protection business. Maybe China and Russia will send carriers and destroyers to protect Maduro's ghost tankers.

You still did not answer the question. Have you ever shot at a moving target from another moving platform and completely disregarded the accuracy of your shots? How about an aircraft because that's the only thing that will keep up with these boats. I realize that ground pounders never face anything running father than a Taliban with his ass on fire, but give it a shot!

I know this is hard, but you really need to slow down and think about what you are saying. What's coming out is garbage!

15th post
OK. What is the gig, this time? Obviously knew, it was empty of oil, by the waterline and direction traveling. If they though somebody was so much a sniffing glue, they would have blown it out of the water, no questions asked. We just thought we'd pirate an big ass empty boat in international waters, using our military to do it?
The tanker was going to load oil we stopped it. What's the beef?

It might make Trump feel good, but the reality is that the rest of the world just thinks we're a bully. What other country does this?
It's good that the rest of the world respects U.S. power and thinks it is a 'bully.' Keeps them in their place.
