Appreciate this is a sensitive subject and that the military have to decorate, if only for morale reasons .Offering a career path etc etc

But this guy went into Grenada when a few fishermen kicked out the Americans . He then fought in places like Kuwait , Iraq and Afghanistan .

I cannot see any evidence that he made this planet one jot more free or safer . I am sure he did his best , was loyal , blah , blah .
But all were needless conflicts for a marauding , imperialistic bunch of planet bullies who have nearly single handed produced the present geo political mess .

He may have been the nicest guy and a credit to his profession but he was a trained soldier who followed orders which turned out to be largely dumb .
