US Announces $1.1 Billion More in Military Aid for Ukraine

"Who will be the NATO's next chief?": The New York Times named four favorites for the post of Secretary General of the alliance, who will leave Stoltenberg next year.
"As the main candidate for the post of NATO Secretary General, Washington considers Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Kristy Freeland with ukrainian roots. The candidates from the EU countries were Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Kallas, Slovak President Zuzana Chaputova and former Croatian Prime Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic"
The main requirements are a russophobic woman who supports fascist Ukraine with all her might

Better not be a conflict of interest or a favored candidate that will be biased by way of having so much power that it can use the alliance for personal vendetta's, because one thing is for sure, and that is that power is a burden, and absolute power corrupts.

The U.S. will provide an additional $1.1 billion in aid to Ukraine, with funding for about 18 more advanced rocket systems and other weapons to counter drones that Russia has been using against Ukrainian troops, according to U.S. officials.

The latest package is being provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which funds contracts to purchase weapons and equipment. And it brings the total of U.S. aid to Ukraine to nearly $17 billion since the Biden administration took office. Officials provided details of the package on condition of anonymity because it has not yet been made public.

The aid announcement, expected later Wednesday, comes as Russia moves to annex parts of Russian-occupied Ukraine that held Kremlin-orchestrated referendums on living under Moscow's rule. The votes, denounced by Kyiv and the West as illegal and rigged, underscore that Russia's long-term goal remains taking control of Ukraine.

Jeez....So they approve like an additional 1 Billion a day every day? Sometimes they'll just take 6 days off to trick us and approve $12 Billion that day to make up for the lost days?

That 10% for the Big Man must really be adding up.....Tater's brother is going to have to hire a money manager.
This has gone WAY to far. This is an example of both a strategy
and also diversion. To help distract the United States from real
problems.Use Ukraine in order to cast Putin as some Mad Dictator
and turn into the latest Bogeyman. While flooding a truly Corrupt
Regime like Ukraine with American petro-dollars and make a Hero out
of Zelensky.A real jerk. This is a New World Order scheme.
Plus I don't trust for a second most of what Ukraine reports and
videos.Keep in mind it was In Ukraine that Hunter Biden got his
big break. With absolutely No Experience whatsoever in the Energy sector
he was appointed to the Board of Burisma and given a monthly salary
of Over $ 80,ooo per month.Just 2 months of that { $ 160,ooo }
is roughly equivalent to what members of Congress { Both House and
Senate } make a year { $ 174,ooo }.
Plus this Zelensky jerk-off who thinks it cute to wear T-shirts
when interviewed. Not even Fidel Castro was that much a jerk-off.
The U.S. under Biden's pathetic role as Commander-in-Chief
has the worst military readiness and personel in our History.
It's proveable and documented.Recruitment as established in
late summer is DOWN around 25%.
Putin is no Saint, but the People of Russian are not bad people
and hearty fighters.Under Trump ... There was no friction between
Putin and the U.S.
This is all being done on purpose. It's drummed-up.
Both Ukraine and Russia are not NATO members.
Pat Buchanan's take on all this is the Correct Historic context.
So STOP buying any more Biden " Malarkey! "

I'll keep saying it.... Biden is a threat to our sovereignty and our national security, and he will always be.

Will America Send Patriot Air Defence Systems to Ukraine? Deliveries May Bring Major Risks For Modest Gain

P.S.
There are other nuances that the publication is silent about. Together with the "Patriot" systems, American specialists will have to be sent to Ukraine, and this is a completely different scenario.

Firstly, this means the direct participation of the United States in the conflict, and secondly, US military personnel will die during the destruction of complexes by russian weapons.

All this will have to be explained to the Americans, who, in the conditions of the crisis, have already ceased to be optimistic about spending enormous funds to support Ukraine.

Good news. It should be a lot more; letting scum like Putin invade and control one of the major world food exporters is insane policy. The U.S. needs to be leading a movement to expel both Russia and Red China from the UN's Security Council, and stepping up pressuring NATO to admit the Ukraine all other eastern European countries who apply.

End the war already.

America should be pushing both sides to the table.

It would have been over two weeks after it started, but Putin could count on weak responses from Biden and of course all the nutless right wingers who suddenly started channeling Jane Fonda. Isolationism only leads to much bigger wars, not 'peace'. Fight small wars on their borders, not wait until they're on ours.

Putin counted on a weak response from Biden and NATO countries more concerned about Russian oil.

He was sadly mistaken

He was sadly mistaken

No, he was right, same as he was in counting on Obama's hatred for the U.S. He hasn't given up, and is successfullly using nuclear blackmail to keep going.

Today’s poll showed only 25 percent of Russians support his war.
You know….the war Russia was supposed to win in two weeks

This is theft. Plain and simple.
I want my money back

Let’s make that a thing. Let’s put different departments on the tax forms and you can say where your money goes. You can say that all yours goes to Justice for Border enforcement. You can leave the rest off.

Polls on what the public wants mean nothing in gangster regimes like Russia.
No, but they do make it harder to force your will.
Putin may not care about the people, but the wealthy oligarchs are leaving him too.
They are losing too much money

I already pointed that out in another thread. But, they haven't started killing each other yet, so it's clear Putin is still The Man. Plus he's sticking to drafting minorities.
