The U.S. will provide an additional $1.1 billion in aid to Ukraine, with funding for about 18 more advanced rocket systems and other weapons to counter drones that Russia has been using against Ukrainian troops, according to U.S. officials.

The latest package is being provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which funds contracts to purchase weapons and equipment. Good news. It should be a lot more; letting scum like Putin invade and control one of the major world food exporters is insane policy. The U.S. needs to be leading a movement to expel both Russia and Red China from the UN's Security Council, and stepping up pressuring NATO to admit the Ukraine all other eastern European countries who apply.
