The theories in the scientific system has basic elements within the scientific method, such as generating a hypothesis, testing that premise, finding (or not finding) empirical evidence and coming up with conclusions.

Eventually, other scientists must be able to replicate the results if the experiment is destined to become the basis for a widely accepted law or theory.

It might surprise you to learn that, as far as the federal government is concerned, cocaine is less dangerous than marijuana. Cocaine is a Schedule II drug under the Controlled Substances Act, meaning the government recognizes both a high potential for abuse and legitimate medical uses, while marijuana is Schedule I, meaning it has no recognized legitimate medical uses—just a potential for abuse.

Scientists put science before politics. They do not make hypothesis' or theories based on the Democratic Party's Policies. The Democrats take the Scientists hypothesis' and theories and seek to pass legislation based on the science.

The forest fires, droughts, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes exist over the centuries, yet these and other natural and unnatural events (SMOG for example) began with the Industrial Age and will continue to warm the Oceans by human activities.

That is the product of the Science, and it is not based on politics.
