We're getting a lot of the usual whines from the usual liberal fanatics, saying that this cabinet nominee or that cabinet nominee is "unqualified". Latest example seems to be Betsy DeVos for Education Secretary.
The liberals are now whining that she doesn't have enough experience with public schools. Apparently she sent her kids to charter schools or private schools or something, and she favors those. The liberals are apparently afraid she will encourage U.S. schools to be more like those and less like the "traditional" public schools... many of which are abject failures.
Umm, libbies.... that's exactly why she IS qualified to be Education Secretary. The liberal model for public schools has failed. And we need someone who will come in and support the kids of schools that DID succeed, and try to make more and more schools like that. Teacher competition, letting kids go to schools of their parents' choice, etc.
On Nov. 8, the American people rejected you, libbies. And they rejected the things you have been doing, large among them your failing schools.
I understand that you must fight her efforts to repair and improve what you have destroyed. But maybe you should work with her instead. The fact that you are working your way OUT of a job, is less important than the fact that your are helping American children.
Isn't it?
