Officially, it appears to be a NC National Guard Blackhawk and the crew has been grounded over this wash incident.

Maryland Army Guard unveils newest helicopter in its arsenal
CAMP FRETTERD, Md. - The Maryland Army National Guard unveiled Wednesday its first of four UH-72A Lakota helicopters - which will replace the older OH-58A Kiowa as their premier aircraft for civilwww.nationalguard.mil
No, just a pilot sent to the wrong place, or lost.Sabotaging the relief effort?
Do we need more proof that the government is at war with its citizens?![]()
No, just a screw up.It sounds like intimidation tactics then.....one way or another is wrong.
You're stupid. The privately owned helicopter had not coordinated with rescue personnel on the ground as requested. Pilots who refuse to cooperate with standard safety procedures are a danger to and a distraction from ongoing recovery efforts.
Yes,it almost certainly (99.9999999%) was.It wasn't a military helicopter.
You need 90 days observation. If so, then it was probably worth more than all the money promised to the victims of Helene. Wonder how much it can bring on the scrap metal market after being shot down by a .460 Weatherby Magnum?
No. He simply never thought about it, because it's generally not an issue. (Military equipment is secured against it.)Did you not see the rotor-wash maneuver?
They did it intentionally!
What did you "see"?
Bullshit. The mission was to hamper the private relief effort. There was no reason to come in that low and **** things up other than to stop or at least delay them. It truly is citizens vs the government at this point. The government doesn’t want you to get any more help than they have determined you deserve.
Because someone told him to, and either sent the guy to the wrong guy spot or nobody thought to clear a landing area. The more I think about your post the less sense it makes.
Yes Blackhawk pilots are very good. So why would one try to set down in the middle of a parking lot full of tents? You’d have to be an idiot to think that’s where you need to drop off some supplies.
This. Honest mistake. That is the statement from the NCNG on their twitter page.
If the pilot was trying to disrupt them, he did a piss-poor job. He could have easily dropped another 50' and hovered for a few seconds, it would have scattered every single stack of boxes on the ground.
He moved off as soon as those little tents went flying. There was no damage, just a little clean-up, no disruption.
I think the people on the ground probably asked for generators, and the NG loaded them up and sent them off.
But no one thought about preparing a landing site for a helo that size- it looked like they were just setup in a turnaround at the top of a ridge or something. They had a little clearing at the end of a road and they just started stacking their supplies. But they used up all the flat ground, and when the helo showed up, they had no place to put down.
You should be locked up.Every private hurricane people recovery supply encampment ought to be protected to ensure noninterference by hostiles.
.460 Weatherby Magnum.

Best little invading helicopter grounding tool ever invented.
For when you left your .50ca BMG at home.

SPUTTER CLANK CRASH.
You know nothing.I need a link to that bullshit story. No pilot worth a **** would have done that.

Describe, in detail, your experience with military helicopters, including but not limited to your time in service, the last time you set up a LZ, and the type of helicopter you set it up for. Be specific

As expected, you have no idea what you're babbling about and can simply be ignored. You're dismissed.No.
Any helo pilot worth his salt would know better than to operate like that.
That was no accident.
Get lost.

That makes more sense. The OP implied it was a planned effort to damage supplies. I knew that wasn't right, and overzealously tried to come up with an explanation that I thought made sense. I shouldn't have done that. Thanks for the correction. I really do appreciate receiving facts. It never pays off to put forward something I don't actually believe.No. He simply never thought about it, because it's generally not an issue. (Military equipment is secured against it.)

Not sure WTF to make of this. If true, this will sink the Harris bid for President because it is just more evidence how the regime is not just slow walking aid, but actively impeding private entities providing aid.

Don't give them ideas, they already think that the democrats control the weather.Could be part of that Jewish Space Laser thing. Ya know, the idiot Harris pissed off Bibi so he's using our own space hardware against us.
