Have you driven around someplace like Santa Ana, or Anaheim?

When hispanics move in the crime rate goes up and businesses leave. That makes for a lot of empty storefronts that are taken over by mexican junk shops, indoor swap meets and bridal gown shops. The income generated by these new businesses isn't nearly what the old stores generated. That taco stand just never was able to charge as much as the fine dining restaurant. Property values go down, tax revenues go down. The City can't pay those salaries to city workers any more. Hispanics are elected to city office and it becomes Bell or Cudahy.

Yes I know all about it. I've been watching it for 30 years.

The best thing about these depressed area that weren't depressed before it became inhabited largely by hispanics is that it makes the properties more likely to be bought up by Asian business interests that raze it all to the ground and put in high end stores and luxury condos.
