Yeah, I knew it had something to do with cleaning toilets. You wouldn't happen to live in Oregon, would you? One of my brothers up there is a pipe fitter BA, and would be glad to come out and shut down your job site for an inspection.
How do you get cleaning toilets from building plumbinmg systems? I have never failed an inspection as of yet and it's been 23 years, so bring it on and as for shuting the job down? Better have a good reason because I would have him fired. I would report him to the State board comission, for over stepping his authority.
This is shintao.....

Have you noticed the depths of classlessness shintao has sunk.
He knows he is beaten like a rented mule. Yet, he comes back for more. He is the little brat on the block no one wanted to hang out with. So the other kids beat the sit out of him once in a while just to remind him he was not wanted but merely tolerated.
I worked for a small family plumbing shop. The father of the two brothers I worked for was the plumbing inspector for 6 small towns in northern NJ. We did stellar work. Had to. The dad would "fail" us on jobs to avoid the appearance of impropriety.
Umm.....no union...Didn't need one. We did residential work anyway.
As far as the "must join the union" shit put forth by shitnow is pure nonsense. In Right to Work states, there is nothing the union can do to compel people to join. In fact the union people keep their mouths shut for fear the company will kick the union out.
Got a friend who worked for a telco here. It was a union shop though my friend was not a member. Another bigger telco (non union) bought them out. Guess what....The union went bye bye. The few guys that were in the CWA were told they could remain union but lost their collective bargaining rights because the new owners had no agreement with the union.
The relationship between company and labor organizations is like any other business relationship. it is either there or it isn't . Unions have no special powers that make them different.
