Unhappy with the US? These Americans are giving Finland a try—and so far, they have no regrets.

now that looks pretty good, course imported beef I suspect.......or reindeer?
No, Finnish beef. Reindeer meat (a very healthy, protein‑rich product) is quite expensive.

This is what pisses people off the most, and creates hatred and prejudice.

These people who claim to want to live in a better country CANNOT be bothered learning HOW to live in that country.
They refuse to learn the laws, most refuse to learn the native language, they refuse to learn cultural stigmatas and necessities.
They refuse to learn manners, they refuse to learn HOW to adapt and exist in a different country.

This is why most American born peoples hate immigrants. This is what breeds contempt, hatred, and violence.

If you are going to refuse to learn how to BE a completely different person in a new land, then everything that happens to you, is ALL YOUR FAULT.
one thing is for sure, 🇷🇺 Moscow empire is finished

looks happy for now but what finnish dude wants that exactly? not really their flavor
yes Helsinki has all type of food but a common dish is something fish, often fermented

not something you learn to love exactly

To not be racist this is why you won't see a guy from Finland who is blond and white move to harlem, 1000x out of place
and likely not make a year
ps + the shortest way to Japan :auiqs.jpg:

Still higher than average. So how are they so happy. Ever been to the Scandinavian nations? I have. America is far better.

I have been to Finland a couple times, and when you start to ask locals some probing questions, what comes out is, Yeah, it's a wonderful country in every way, BUT...the weather will drive you crazy. It is GLOOMY and COLD for most of the year. By March, they are so desperate for Spring that they go out half dressed when the temperatures go a few degrees over freezing. Depression is the national disease and I believe the suicide numbers are extraordinary.

We in the U.S. have the opposite situation in California, where the government is criminally awful, but people love it because of the great weather and natural wonders. In Finland, the government does a singularly good job, but seriously, do you want to live someplace where it is incessantly gloomy for most of the year?
It's true that the winters can be a bit depressing but people often greatly overestimate the numbers of suicide in Finland and Scandinavia, we like ourselves to claim that we have the highest in the world but it's simply not true.

Suicides do go up some during winter though.
