Unhappy Meal: Fast-Food Prices Hiked after California Ups Minimum Wage

If you’re into over processed sodium sticks they’re not bad. I am paying the price today for eating that over priced junk last night. It will be a little while before I go to another fast food spot.
And your wife probably feels the same.

Every time I get fast food I am shocked by the cost. That speaks to how often I eat the junk. Once, maybe twice a year is all.

And I am sorry people have to pay more for borderline toxic fast food. But there is a very simple cure for that. Don't go to McDonalds. Or Wendy's.

Yeah she said her tummy been rumbly all day. When your body isn’t used to that kind of stuff it takes a toll. I don’t see how some people I work with eat it multiple times a week. Not only from the feeling fat and lazy aspect but how they can afford it boggles my mind

Well you don't say?!! Who would have thought that consumers would be the ones paying for increased production costs?
The left always seems to have this belief that the people they hate so much, business owners, stockholders, etc need to be punished, so let's make them pay the higher cost of wages.
In the end, it's the consumer that always pays the costs, and the cycle of higher wages, equals higher costs, equals higher wages, and on and on and on.

‘We are definitely going to pass this on.’

Wow.

A 4 to 9 cent increase.

Times tough for you?

I don’t usually eat fast food but this weekend wife and I were on a road trip and running late coming home so we stopped at Wendy’s. $31 later we had a burger fries and medium drink a piece. I feel sorry for a family of 4. Biden’s America is in full swing
I don't eat fast food much anymore. I can go into a sit-down restaurant and have a much better meal for a couple of dollars more.

Fast food is the bell ringer for many people in everyday life. The poorer classes are reducing their purchases due to rising prices.

Last Saturday my wife and I went our Granddaughters softball game. It was several miles away and it was getting late in the evening. We didn't want to go home and fix something and it always hard to get into a decent restaurant Saturday evening so we decided to do the fast food thingy.

We have not eaten at a fast food place this year. We did takeout at Culvers. As far as chains go it is better than most places. We did not splurge or anything but the price for two of us was $32. That is ridiculous for hamburgers, fries and shakes.

Thank Potatohead for his inflation.

Or buy good ingredients and cook a great meal at home. Then you have the bonus of tasty leftovers.
Went to the local casino last night and got a full rack of baby backs for $25 with all the fixins. LOL, I couldn't finish half a rack, so I'll be enjoying ribs for a couple days. Beats a sawdust burger.

That's the point, of course. These blue states are set up to keep poor people poor. Like plantations, for instance.
Do only poor people in your area eat at McDonalds?

(R) cutting SNAP, how's that working out for the poor?

Thank your Governor.
