FASAB 56 specifically.
They pushed this through during the Kavanaugh mainstream media circus in October of last year. Seems to be a trend with this kind of tyranny. Was a bipartisan affair, I'll add, both House and Senate, the White House and both Republicans and Democrats. They literally took the US government dark in terms of accounting. Constitutional laws, accounting laws and financial management regulation related to financial disclosure in the government be damned. Some obscure accounting firm gets to supercede those laws using some obscure policy. lol.
Anyway. It's a long read. But really is the most important story nobody's talking about. You'll certainly not see it reported on standard cable news entertainment programming.
