Dear Hale:
I think what you have written is a guide for understanding
teenagers in rebellion. They are in a state of pushing against
parental authority while learning why the rules exist, for their own protection.
This is a necessary stage of development, although a difficult one,
but the reward at the end is that people grow to become independent adults
who can reason for themselves. They just don't want to be TOLD what to do
by an outside authority, they want to be in charge of making those choices.

So why not help MENTOR such generations through this process to becoming self-sufficient?

We wouldn't let teenagers run around unattended to get into more trouble
than they can afford while "experimenting" with their freedom of choice.

We shouldn't punish teenagers for not understanding, but questioning
authority even to the point of insulting and making crazy demands.

At this stage, parental shadowing is CRITICAL including the need for mentors who
can guide through this process and FINISHING it successfully
to reach a PROPER conclusion.

Instead of criticizing, rejecting and demeaning people going through this,
the OPPOSITE is needed -- More support to REASON through the process
SUCCESSFULLY instead of "wanting to watch them fail."

How can we set up mentorships and partnerships so people
questioning how social institutions such as health care and education
can be made SUSTAINABLE can actually be WALKED THROUGH the
process of setting up cost effective self-managed COOPERATIVES
and community campuses that support education, jobs and internships
by providing public services at the same time.

I appreciate your analysis of the problem Hale.

If you could also spell out steps to solutions, such as
how to coordinate mentorships so experienced Business,
Government, Academic and Nonprofit Leaders could
support aspiring leaders in on the job training to develop
sustainable programs for health care, education and other
social services, that would be even more helpful!

I would MUCH RATHER we invest campaign and party donations
into creating PAID INTERNSHIPS and MENTORSHIP positions
to create solutions teaching people how to manage their own
programs on a sustainable basis. If we are going to address
these problems, why not offer solutions at the same time?

After I graduated High School I got sent to Vietnam where I learned about the Geneva Convention and carried a Geneva Convention Card.
