Ultimately, what drew Trump voters to show up en masse...

Still, if the LGBT can compromise a fraction of the population and dominate with their policies,
even if the vote against the liberal Democrats IS the minority, maybe it's their turn to dominate
REGARLDESS what the majority says
. Because that's what the left was doing,
and claiming they were the majority voice.
... Aren't they equally valid regardless of numbers?

Not in an election...lol...Last time I checked, in elections, numbers count..

IIRC, Trump got fewer popular votes than Romeny or McCain.

The problem was that the Dem's put a more suck-ass candidate then the GOP.

It's a bit of an over-simplification to say that Liberal name calling motivated the Trump supporters to show up in great numbers at the polls. Your party ignored Bernie Sanders who was clearly the choice of the people and went with the Queen Elite of the party who was majorly flawed.

The other factor was the Democratic Party ignored the working class and Trump connected with them in a way that was truly remarkable. He ignored every bit of conventional "wisdom" and tossed the GOP on it's head. Give the man credit, what he did was nothing short of miraculous.

It certainly wasn't the only part, or even a major part, but it was definitely a part.

And you know what? You're still doing it (maybe not YOU specifically, but your side).

Why? Because you actually believe it.

Give the man credit, what he did was nothing short of miraculous.

"Miraculous"???? Perhaps that is right in target.......Here's what Trump called republicans in Iowa:

‘‘How stupid are the people of Iowa?’’ declared Trump during a rally at Iowa Central Community College. ‘‘How stupid are the people of the country to believe this crap?’’

‘How stupid are the people of Iowa?’ Trump asks, while blasting Carson - The Boston Globe

....and in Nevada

Perhaps Clinton could have done more uniting if Sanders had been picked for VP.
That may not change the outcome of votes, but might have helped the party.

Had Trump been able to campaign with Cruz and Johnson as future officials in his administration,
maybe that would have prevented the popular vote from splitting so much
that we see protestors hoping to change the Electoral vote.

I'm amazed that Trump even surpassed the effect of losing votes to third parties.
This interference had cost candidates in the past, and I thought Clinton would win.

Overall, Clinton was the only candidate with the connections and pull to win for the Democrats,
and Trump was the only one who could have pulled off the campaign and media stunts to beat her.

Sure a better candidate could have won for the GOP to keep things more predictable than Trump,
but they would have had to run against Sanders instead of Clìnton or they would have lost!

You people think if you pump enough Hispanics into the country you'll win elections

NO, the reality is that minorities have many more offspring than older, white couples....Simple as that.....Florida, Texas and Arizona will be blue in another decade or so. Its not political spin....just the reality of demographics.
And we know that minorities just LOVE washing dishes and mowing lawns.
Racist.

I'm including myself in this forum (and other venues) as one who derided and condescended Trump acolytes and right wingers in general.

Many of us called these folks, old, white, southern red-necked types, uneducated, narrow-minded, racists, xenophobic, misogynists, regressive.....and downright stupid American voters who claimed that they only lost in the past because us.....democrats....cheat at the polls by having illegals and corpses vote along with us.

These labels and derisive name-calling obviously angered these folks, and they made damn sure to come out and vote by the millions for someone like Trump whom many of them (not all, obviously) hated LESS than they hated Hillary Clinton.

Comey's letter certainly had its debilitating (and expected) impact on Clinton, but the thinly-veiled allegation by Comey is far from the main factor why many just did not vote for her (just heard a report that in some Wisconsin county, 45,000 people skipped the presidential slots, and Trump won by a mere 27,000 votes.)

Yes, for us democrats....as Pogo famously stated......we met the enemy and it was indeed us. Clinton had too much baggage on her shoulders AND, our labeling right wingers uneducated hicks has made us pay the heavy price.

Not to mention the fact that when the Dems had all three branches they passed that very harmful Health Care bill against the majority of the people with only their party voting for it.

Dear peach174
But the supporters were still willing to unite behind Clinton anyway!
Look at the protests.
The media kept pushing that this ACA was what the left wanted.

Are there REALLY more people voting against all that than for it?
I still can't believe it.

I was lead to believe the combined minority voters bought out by Democrats
is the greater population, for which the politicized liberals control the narrative
in the party and media to appeal to that image and marketing audience,
and the white working class is now the minority.

???

Are you saying this isn't so?

The protestors still are saying THEY represent the voice and will of the people.

Still, if the LGBT can compromise a fraction of the population and dominate with their policies,
even if the vote against the liberal Democrats IS the minority, maybe it's their turn to dominate
REGARLDESS what the majority says. Because that's what the left was doing,

So confusing, if you try to make sense of how the MEDIA defines the majority of America.
Both are yelling to be heard. Aren't they equally valid regardless of numbers?

Yes they are, we all are, but the left stopped representing the Conservatives and Independants of their own party in this admistration.

You also vastly underestimate his draw of people who you labeled as "highly educated". Example, Trump got 49% of college educated white women. I guess having a candidate with a vagina wasn't as important as you thought.

Are you referring to the ACA mostly written by a republican think tank and one that Trump is now claiming to adopt for the most part?

If that was true you would have seen Republicans voting for it.
Now claming?
He's said it all along. Keep the good parts, repeal the bill and get one that works for all of us.

The "reality", Nat is that the Democratic Party has resisted anything that would stop the flow of illegals into this country because they saw Hispanics as "their" new majority to take and hold control of the country for decades. The influx of illegals from Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala over the past twenty years has been unprecedented...and you on the left have welcomed it without a care about how it affected blue collar workers already here. You think you own the Hispanic vote. History tells me that you're counting on something that will not be there for you. The better minorities do in this country the more they start to vote Republican. Hispanics are not lazy. They're generally some of the hardest working people out there right now. Most of them aren't looking for handouts. They're here for opportunity. Once they realize that Democrats only provide government entitlements without the chance for advancement you're going to lose them in droves.

Come on now, that's a dodge. No political experience, no political machine i.e. 'ground game'. Little support from his own party. 99% of the media against him. A fraction of the campaign budget of Bush, Clinton, Sanders, etc. All of that and he will end up with over 300 electoral vote victory. That is miraculous.

I guess having a candidate with a vagina wasn't as important as you thought.

WOW....that could then open up the speculation that you've been voting for men because you liked their penises.

You are not a Democrat, you are far left drone!

Obama and his legacy are dead, time to get over it!

Note: the far left thinks it is funny for them to act like two years!
