As far as I know, these cases have been confirmed and documented by the Ukrainian side.
From the Kursk region:
The first case: a man was riding a bicycle while the AFU had already entered Sudzha.
Soldiers of the 82nd Brigade shouted “Glory to Ukraine” at him, expecting a response.
The man, about 47 years old, just waved his hand and kept going. In response, he was shot in the back with a burst from an automatic rifle. Killed.
The second case is even more brutal—it involved former convicts from the 225th Brigade in Kazachya Loknya.
When they had just entered the area, a woman and two girls (one 16 years old, the other 23) were hiding in a house basement, along with two men around 40 years old.
The men were immediately shot.
The woman and the girls were raped and then killed as well.
The third case—Nikolskoe.
Two elderly people (a grandfather and a grandmother over 65 years old) refused to give water to soldiers of the 80th Air Assault Brigade.
They were then forced into their house and set on fire. They burned alive.
These are just the cases that I am aware of at the moment. And they are by no means from Russian sources, which I am not inclined to trust 100%.
Those responsible were sent to assault units as cannon fodder. Whether they survived there or not, I have no information. Even AFU soldiers themselves consider the behavior of former convicts to be completely deranged.
I repeat—these are only the cases that resulted in punishment decisions and are recorded by the military prosecutor's office. (с)
