In Ukraine there are already more than 3,500 millionaires. The most interesting part is that the money most often comes from… gifts.
Let me explain: if it’s difficult to show money officially (for example from a bribe, extortion, or theft), it is declared as a “gift.”
Very often in Ukraine these gifts are supposedly given by pensioner mothers or 89-year-old grandmothers living in villages.
Thank you, Europe, for the “gifts”!
