They were biolabs, and the Biden company Metabiota was apparently somehow connected to it all. The Russians captured paperwork from several of them.

Actually, los Rusos cartel is quite cooperative with GRU, and they do have some bio- and chemistry labs. Nothing really dangerous yet, but it deserves keeping eye on it.
