Ukraine agrees to peace deal with minor details to settle yet.....

We never signed Ukraine up as a client for that protection.

Deliberately chose not to, in fact.
Not entirely true. When we talked the Ukes into giving up all their Nukes they had the third biggest nuclear arsenal in the world. Behind only Russia and the USA.

Bill The Rapist, the EU, UK, France, the United States even Russia all promised to defend them from outside aggression. It's called the Budapest Memorandum.

I wouldn't expect you to know because we have this pile of shit I call the DISGUSTING FILTH that keeps Americans in the dark about virtually everything, in between lying about -- Everything

The left will be triggered if and when a peace plan is settled. Imagine the TDS, it will be as if Trump juggled kittens, kicked puppies, stole Halloween candy from little children, and of course "threatens our democracy".

Well, part of me really doesn't care about Ukraine but part of me would be happy to see the war settled. I've lost track now, what will that be if it works out, something like 8-9, 12 different global conflicts Trump has settled since last February?

Something like 2000 men have been dying each day, but loons here, all they ***** about is whether their meat prices are still high.

Between all these unresolved problems around the world that feckless jackass Biden left on Trump's palette, the Schumer shutdown, war zones of crime in big cities, the border, immigration, and so much more, setting Tesla dealerships on fire, et al., maybe if it wasn't for all of the shit democraps do incessantly, Trump might have had time sooner to work on the economy.

Where did we sign up Korea, Vietnam, Kuwait for that protection?
Either we signed them up through various treaties or agreements, or we have not signed them up. Either way, I don't see protecting them if there were a situation where the rest of Asia or the Middle East refused to.

I'd be happy with just pulling back to our own shores, so comparing one foolishness to many others isn't an argument that will win me over.

Vietnam? We lost a war to them. Are we protecting them?

Vietnam? We lost a war to them. Are we protecting them?
We didn't "lose" in Viet Nam. 100% totally and completely wrong.

This is you listening to the DISGUSTING FILTH again.

If anything, we got tired of killing them and left. In 1973 we were gone. communists in Congress (dimocrap FILTH) got the Case-Church Amendment through, cutting off all aid to the South Vietnamese, including all munitions, parts and equipment. And since it was all American equipment, they soon found themselves in deep shit.

Two years later, in 1975, The North then invaded the South with a force larger than was used on D-Day, in Normandy France and defeated the South in detail

That, my Dear Friend, is FACT.

We’ll see. It’s probably another false alarm.

Yeah, the Russians are trying to run out the clock.

The Ukes are some tough people, however. And smart. Ukrainians are an extremely intelligent, inventive and creative people. They have the means to hit Moscow but I think we're holding them back for fear of escalation.

It's a matter of time until OMB turns them loose. The Ukes are killing Russians at an astonishing rate. Probably around Ten to One.

The Russians can't keep those numbers up. No way. We may see the complete and total collapse of the Russian 'civilizatioin' in a few years. They're getting seriously hurt

A bizarre statement.

Didn't see this and started a thread. I'm sure it will be merged soon.

Kinda looks like, by your definition, Vlad was triggered. You can wipe the egg off your face now.

Russia Strikes Ukraine and Signals Resistance to Amended Peace Plan

Russia launched a deadly barrage of missiles and drones on the Ukrainian capital on Tuesday, as Kremlin officials signaled they would resist changes negotiated by Ukraine to President Trump’s peace plan.

The attack on Kyiv, the capital, killed at least seven people and injured 20 others, according to the city’s mayor. It came as the Trump administration was working to maintain diplomatic momentum behind its efforts to end the nearly four-year-old war, which were jump-started last week when it presented a 28-point peace plan to Ukraine.

American and Russian officials held talks on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, about the proposed deal, which heavily favored Russia in its initial form and was amended and streamlined in talks between Ukraine and the Trump administration over the weekend. Ukraine has indicated that its president, Volodymyr Zelensky, was prepared to go to Washington to finalize a deal with Mr. Trump.

Ukraine bombed them too dumb shit.

Ukraine bombed them too dumb shit.
The point, one you can't see thru your haze of ignorance, is Russia is balking at the plan Zelenskyy agreed to.

Sergey V. Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, said earlier that Russia was waiting for the United States to submit an ā€œinterimā€ version of the modified plan.

ā€œThen we will see,ā€ Mr. Lavrov said after a meeting in Moscow with his Belarusian counterpart.

If the plan ā€œerasedā€ what Mr. Lavrov called ā€œthe spirit and letter of Anchorageā€ — referring to an August meeting in Alaska where Mr. Trump sided with Russia’s approach to end the conflict — then ā€œit will be a fundamentally different situation,ā€ he said, suggesting that Russia would resist rolling back the maximalist positions that were in the plan.

The Russians aren't the only ones who object to the plan proposed by Putin's pal.

Republicans Fight With Trump’s Team Over Ukraine Talks

Congressional Republicans who view Ukraine as a bulwark against Russian aggression are openly blasting President Trump’s team for an approach they argue amounts to appeasing the Kremlin in a bid to swiftly draw the conflict to a close.

Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky feuded on social media on Tuesday with Vice President JD Vance, a key player in the ongoing talks, scolding him in a series of posts for defending an emerging deal that Mr. McConnell argued would not secure Ukraine and would play into Russia’s hands.

ā€œA deal that rewards aggression wouldn’t be worth the paper it’s written on,ā€ Mr. McConnell, the longest-serving Senate Republican leader and one of his party’s most vocal proponents of American support for Kyiv, wrote in conclusion. ā€œAmerica isn’t a neutral arbiter, and we shouldn’t act like one.ā€

Unfortunately, the Republicans have some warmongers, too, along with all the DemoKKKrats.
