Uh oh. Is the new BLS person going to be shown the door too?

At least they're telling it like it is unlike Biden's liars who massaged for the Dementia Patient.

How many months did Biden's autopen lie its metal ass off about jobs created and have to retract them?

I seem to recall 10 out of 12 months in 2023 or something like that. Just asked AI....1.18 million jobs were falsely reported under Biden for the year ending March, 2024.

Democrats love to accuse others of what they're doing.
How many times do I have to explain this. The BLS initial numbers are based on two surveys. First, the Household Survey, questionnaires sent out to households. The second, the Establishment Report, questionnaires sent out to businesses. Since the Covid outbreak the participation rate, the number of questionnaires actually returned, has diminished significantly. That results in a sampling errors, it is called the non-response sampling error. There was nothing nefarious going on under Biden. In fact, he actually created a committee tasked with improving that response rate. The Trump administration eliminated that committee.

This administration is a clown show. Businesses are frozen. The whole tariff thing is hanging over them like a sword over Damocles. The head of the OMB, Russell Vought, is little more than a Heritage Foundation plant. He is a dumbass, or a chickenshit, or more than likely both. He sits on the sidelines as Trump runs this economy into the ground.

Amazing how the chicken littles for all four years under Biden who claimed "the recession is coming!" like Paul Revere suddenly cant see anything wrong with any numbers no matter what context. I hope they are right. Fingers crossed is all we can do as Trump's tariffs tear a hole in the asshole of the country. Good luck my friends!

Job opening data falls to levels rarely seen since pandemic

Job openings ticked down in July to levels rarely seen since the Covid pandemic, bolstering fears of cooling in the labor market.

The Job Openings and Labor Turnover report showed around 7.18 million listings in July, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics released Wednesday. That’s only the second reading under the 7.2 million level since the end of 2020.

Wednesday’s print was the lowest since September 2024, when just over 7.1 million openings were reported. Outside of that blip lower last year, these job opening levels were last seen when the pandemic was causing an upheaval of the U.S. economy and labor force.

It must be hard to find someone to report numbers Don likes. He may have to break out the Sharpie.
It’s hard to find someone as dishonest and corrupt as Trump.

So it’s not as low as 2024 when xiden was president? Ok

No one said anything about “all”. We are talking in aggregate.
Lol. For a static and maladaptive economy, perhaps. For those businesses who fail to overcome and adapt, perhaps.

Do you expect the government to come bailing them out every time there's any sort of hardship on the economy?

In this instance, the government is the hardship.

Wait........they must be........the greatest businessman to ever live is driving the bus. The tariffs are an economic miracle. Polluting the environment is great for the bottom line. Deficit spending is stimulative. Look at all those tailwinds.
3.3% growth.

I assumed you voted for and support Trump. If not, please accept my apology.
Yes and no.

Yes, I did vote for Trump, no, I don't always support him.

Not afraid to call him on his bulls**t when it's warranted. Just because you vote for a guy doesn't necessarily mean you walk in lockstep with him. Remember that.
