I worked for UHaul many, many years ago. Having areas run out of trucks was common. As was having areas with an overabundance of trucks.

Yep, that's about what I paid to rent my 26' U-Haul from Western Washington to South Dakota last August.

Did I mention that it was WORTH IT?!!!

LIved here in So Cal since graduating high school in Southern Illinois where the most expensive house in town is ~$300,000. Not planning on leaving.
One neighbor just sold his house for $1,500,000 cash. It's about like mine and

Nah, reading is my problem. I had the SC and CA comings and goings reversed and for the life of me the costs didn't make sense. Thanks for your comment that enticed me to take a second look.

More likely it is the franchises fees that are to blame here.
