So... Some Here Wonder Why No One Cares The Boomers Are Having Their Golden Coffins Repo'd. Well... Heres why:

Okay. Well, It will not be very soon.
If you want to speculate you can sell while it's still up.
If you want to make moves n stuff. The window for that is closing fast, and really, I'm not getting into it.
I know what needs done where I'm at. Not trying to get into having to assess a whole new setg of problems at this point.
If I sell now, I’d just have to overpay for a new place. Besides, I love my house!

Why, when it going to drop? It doesn't befront me much. I don't like headaches, like to keep it simple.
Sure, profits could be had. Substantial ones. Is it worth the headaches? That's subjective.

I have no idea if or when it’s going to drop. If it drops 20% from where it is now, I will have STILL gained nearly half a million dollars. No need to be greedy.

I think we’re agreeing on this. I really like my place, it’s in a great location, and I’m not going to try to predict the high and sell. I’ll just enjoy my wise investment and living in such a great home.

Wrong. It was Boomers.
The ones just before the Quaalude dudes.
Yeah, that was Boomers. It was.
Quaalude gen is a little older than me. and younger than Boomers.
It was The Silent Generation, people like Pelosi, Grassley etc, and even the generation before theirs, like Lyndon B Johnson's Great Society, that I believe is where your complaint lies?

Bingo! First time we’ve agreed on anything,

It was the Silent Generation Democrats who started the decline. Things started really heading downhill with LBJ, who decided to bribe blacks (he called them something else) with welfare and break up the black family.

We Boomers had (and still have) the best of everything.

Watching people who believe they have a claim to what I earned through a lifetime of labor simply because I deposited their DNA in a passing womb.

Thank you. I appreciate your candor. And your courage for exemplifying to a "T", for the board... The Boomer mentality. Stunning and brave. Hooray for me me; and fuck you... I couldn't have put a better bow on it myself...
You couldn’t put it any better because you’re sillly not all that smart.

Awwwww....poor cultist.

I know many many 30 year olds that are already VERY successful.
I also know a lot that struggle, because they are idiots and have a poor work ethic.

So, get off your ass and quit complaining about Boomers.
A strong work ethic is good but isn't a means to putting food on the table.

Thank you....Now, go work some OT to pay for my SS. You might as well be good for something.
Boomerism in a nutshell.
WTF do you think YOUR generation, whatever you call yourselves, is doing by adding 2 trillion to the debt every year to fund your dumb ass decisions in life? Do you think there will be a magic bag of money appear so your spawn can continue to be unaffected by the real world?
Boomers ran a deficit literally their entire working lives and the bulk of federal spending (which continues to be controlled by aging Boomers who refuse to relinquish political power) now goes to paying out benefits to Boomers. If you’re concerned about the current fiscal situation, there are unavoidable ways to address it but Boomers never seem to want to.

I’m all for entitlement reform. Let’s start with the most basic: you need to get a job in order to receive any welfare benefits - food stamps, rent subsidies, Medicaid, etc.

The leftists would rather punish folks that have worked for 50+ years and paid into SS than give a nickel less to the welfare class.

We paid in for 40 years. What did the welfare recipients every pay in?
Retirees hold 62% of the nation’s $156 trillion in wealth but demand that you take the sandwich out of a hungry child’s mouth or kick a poor person into the street before even thinking about coming for any of the $3+ trillion they draw from the Treasury every year.

So what? Retirees worked their entire lives to amass a nest egg, and the majority rely heavily on SS - to which they were forced to contribute for decades,

A poor person doesn’t have to be kicked out in the street. They can get a job, and rent an apartment with another poor friend, who will also have to get a job.

They way to stay afloat is to learn more trades to increase yer income, if you were not born with a silver spoon in yer mouth like the Non-boomer Trump who had a large debt when he was president last time.

BULL FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!

I've learned MANY trades over my lifetime, and I STILL work from paycheck to paycheck in my 60's!!!!

Companies don't want SKILL.......they want CHEAP LABOR.........and they don't care WHO they hire to get it.
Which has left SKILLED people flipping burgers, working in retail, or doing odd jobs.

No question Boomers had it better

I started college in 1974….$650 a year and paid for it making $2 minimum wage

You could still get a good paying job out of HS if you could get in a Union

My first house, a condo, cost $70,000 at 15 percent interest

New car was around $3500

I got a job with a pension that paid 65 percent at 55 yrs. Stayed for 40 years

So we may have to ask them to tap into that nest egg if we’re in a fiscal crisis. Borrowing trillions a year to continue providing trillions in benefits to the cohort that has already amassed most of the nation’s wealth doesn’t make sense. All this shit about work requirements for food stamps (which already exist) is just a red herring to avoid acknowledging the obvious.

No, they need that nest egg to fund the overpriced nursing homes and assisted living. They worked and saved their entire lives to amass maybe $500,000 to find a few years in asssited living and make sure libtards like you wouldn’t take the money - or “tap into” - and use it to provide free food, rent, and health care to able-bodied adults who refuse to get a job.
