6 of the 9 stations in Memphis have a black station commander.
7 of the 9 stations have a black deputy commander

At what point is this just 5 people who did a horrible thing and not some indicator of underlying racism?

If the Memphis police dept is in fact racist who’s fault is that? The vast majority of the leadership of that department is black.

And the entire system has exposed once again a corrupt justice system.

My avatar has nothing to do with going against our laws. Handling a situation intelligently is not being a lapdog. Allowing criminals to take over our country is being a lapdog to them.

Years ago our city got the idea that we landlords were making too much money, and they wanted a cut. So they instituted apartment inspections for of course a large fee. They took it a step too far and wanted to also inspect occupied units. I told my councilman if they did that, they would be seeing me in court for violating my constitutional rights. Well a lawyer advised me I couldn't sue them unless they forced their way into my apartment, but my tenants could file a claim against the city if they entered their apartment without a warrant. He also advised me my tenants couldn't do a thing to them until they actually violated their rights, and then they could sue. You can't sue anybody for threatening to violate your rights.

I won that battle and the city backed off. Now if you were in my situation you'd be fighting with the inspectors and the police would have to come out, and then you'd fight with them and maybe end up like this guy because you felt your rights were being violated.

So they went to all the high schoolers in the subdivision and tried to scare them into ratting on people, without even knowing if any of them were there.

First they tried to tell me they had the right to talk to him alone, and then one of the stupid fucks told me "If he were my son I would want him to do the right thing"....I told him I did not need him to tell me how to parent and they could all get the fuck off my property, they tried to not leave but I sent my son inside and told them we were done.

Never heard from the again.

If I were you, I would have just left my son with them and said "good luck, we will get a good lawyer and get back at them!"

Whether you believe the justice system is corrupt which is just a talking point, unless you can point to specific things that are corrupt in the "justice system" writ large and in this case the "justice system" in Memphis, that would have nothing to do with this individual incident. So, those are views held, harbored and shared by one poster on this chatroom. Though, to be honest, they do seem to be views that have found a foothold over in MAGAstan, QAnonville, GOP rank&file, the Conservative Fringe Frontier, and Gossipboard Loonland.

Now, that is not offered in any way to dis the good poster Old Yeller. We are all persuaded that he believes everyone of those items with sincerity and likely even with sort of a religious conviction.
