Was he suspected of some violent crime? They pulled him over for erratic driving. They had the car, knew who he was, the most serious crime he was guilty of was resisting. I dont think the cops response is remotely justifiable.

Why when the police officers were discussing the case afterwards, one of the officers claimed Tyre hit his police car?
As a former truck driver I've had my share of being pulled over. Not once did any officer drag me out of my truck for a simple stop.

Yes, you should cooperate with the officer when pulled over, but this guy was never given that opportunity. He was immediately jerked out of the car and beaten. Of all the examples of police misconduct I have seen over the last few years, this was the worst.

If he were wanted for some sort of violent crime we would know by now. He wasn’t violent with the officers. He wasnt an eminent threat to anyone. These officers were wrong. The fact that all 5 of them went with it and not one of them thought hmmm maybe we are taking this too far should cause the entire department to be investigated.
