.
Enumclaw used to be a decent place.
Definitely, down the hill.
.
That's my hometown* you're talking about.
Far from "down the hill" as your saying goes.
Enumclaw touches upon the Cascade foothills, literally, and has legacy of being a lumber/timber producer, dairy farms, and commuter community to the Seattle-Tacoma metro area. A rather "white bread" community when I lived and grew up their, about 98% "white folks" back then**.
What we see here is more the degeneration of this generation of youth; no sense of community duty, respect for the law, no grasp of their future duties and responsibilities as citizens. Basically small children still. As shown by the "little girl" getting arrested who wails "I want my Mummy" while stamping her feet like a three year old ~which mentally and emotionally she is.
As with too many places out here in this part of the country, too many people have moved here and lack the rural values that made these communities great places to live. The saying we coined a few decades ago, "They are Californicating our homeland."
The real disturbing part of this clip/episode is seeing my rather remote, insulated small town home tainted by the Leftist-Marxist-Socialist disease. Shows how subversive and dangerous the illness has infiltrated.
* ~ Born and raised there (1950-1960s). High School Class of '68.
** ~ Slightly more racial and ethnic component seeping in. My deceased younger sister started a small retail shop there a couple of decades ago, making pies ~sweet and savoy. When she passed away it went to her son, but he has a career too involved to also run a retail business so he's let his father and dad's wife run the business. Karnail and his wife Kamal are Sikh and have some family still living in India. They seem to be doing well with the business, which has a popular reputation in the region; known as "The Pie Goddess".
