We can find many, many, many videos of ICE choosing to initiate violence against people.

The event was largely peaceful until a “gonzo journalist” appeared to be struck by a student.

But that ended when a non-local individual who identified himself as a “gonzo journalist” proceeded to enter a crowd of students and stood on a concrete block, filming and talking to the group. The scene was chaotic, and as the students yelled at him, the man yelled back something like “President Trump is the greatest president.”

Eventually the man stepped down started to blow an emergency whistle. However, it did not appear he made any attempt to exit the group.

The man began getting closer to a student, who appeared to yell “Back the **** up,” according to footage from the Enumclaw Courier-Herald newspaper, a sister publication of the Kent Reporter and part of Sound Publishing.

What is the role of this Adult Independent reporter.

Is it to report on the protests?

Is it to interject themself into the protestors space?

How about the PD, they said they were there the entire time, is it the PD job to keep the groups separate.
PD could have easily seen an escalation, and moved in to separate the 'independent reporter' from the protesters, but they didn't.

Do your job Brandi and ask that officer why he chose to just watch when the PD could have easily
de-escalated the situation.

Correct about the violence, I never mentioned it and didn't defend her actions.
That said, it, her hitting that kid, was wrong.

The photographer has no right to interfere.
If he's a 'photographer', he is there to take photos.....right. NOT get involved.....BUT he did get involved.
If he's an "Independent reporter' as BK says, he is there to report.......right......NOT get involved.

Why are we not questioning this agitator?
Because THAT is truly why he was there.
