Gangs are rampant in Eastern Oregon. It's nauseating.

My husband's niece had kids with a couple of mexican gang bangers, now there are 5 reservation kids in that family alone with Mexican surnames and gang affiliations just by way of their birth. One of them is in prison for murder right now. The other is a drug dealer.

Can someone make a thread about gang violence? As a person who grew up in Compton California during the early 80's and who has family members in gangs and also was affiliated at one time with a gang I think I am more than qualified to shed light on this subject

One of my older son's old associates from high school is also in prison for gang-related murder. He is also an enrolled tribal member.

Ok, they aren't all steeped in alcohol. But they are focused on how best to funnel money from the casino into their own pockets and the pockets of their close relatives, in the name of projects that generally are ill conceived and ultimately fail...after the money is gone.

However tribal subsidized housing usually requires that at least someone in the household be a tribal member.

Koshergrl I feel like you are lying. Most Native American tribes don't marry inter racially due to the idea of preservation their bloodline besides what "hispanics" are you talking about? Mexicans? Mexicans are a mixed people and most tribal leaders don't want to "water down" their gene pool.

My kids are native..and I'm not lying. What on earth would be my motivation to make up a story about my ex's niece and her four hispanic children? And the Hispanic tribal member who sold my son his dog? And his friend..these are all people who are very well known to me. Honestly, I'm just not that creative with my lies, lol.
