There are two distinct paths to power in the modern politics, and these are both wielded by the Left. Which one is used depends on the sort of culture and society in place.
1.Hereās the first method.
From the French Revolution on, the Left has yearned for power over the individual. The method could be called the āraw violenceā mode.
The French Revolution, under Robespierre interpreted violence as the ālanguageā that explained to the masses the ideals of the revolution. āIf the spring of popular government in times of peace is virtue, the springs of popular government in revolution are at once virtue and terrorā¦.Terror is nothing other than justice.ā Robespierre speech, February 5, 1794.
For the first time in history terror became an official government policy, with the stated aim to use violence in order to achieve a higher political goal. Unlike the later meaning of 'terrorists' as people who use violence against a government, the terrorists of the French Revolution were the government. The Terror was legal, having been voted for by the Convention.

Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun ... Mao Zedong.
Not inconsequential, we heard the same phrase from an official of the Obama Administration.
2. But it is the second path that is the modus operandum that the Democrat Party uses in America, a slightly more subtle, nuanced method. It is ācrisis.ā
They create the problem, wring-hand and amplify the crisis, and claim that only they can solve itā¦..at the cost of individual rights and their accumulation of power.
3. Evidence proves that Franklin Roosevelt went out of his way to advance a recession into a Depression. He used the crisis to obviate the Constitution, and bring his power closer to that of the dictators he so admired, and to punish the successful businessmen of whom he was so jealous.
4. āWe began this experiment in 1933 under the pressure of an internal economic crisis. We continue and extend it under the necessities of a war crisis....It is born in crisis, lives on crisis, and cannot survive the era of crisis. By the very law of its nature it must create for itself, if it is to continue, fresh crises from year to year. ā¦And our future is all charted out upon the same turbulent road of permanent crisis.ā
John T. Flynn, "As We Go Marching," p. 256
Flynn wrote this in 1944.
5. We have lived and are living through one more example of the Democrat path to power: crisis.
This one is the pandemonium of a pandemic hoax. The covid flu kills nearly no one who is without underlying morbidities, overweight or aged. Yetā¦.it was enough reason for Democrats to seize control of a well-functioning economy and destroy it in the interest of gaining control of the government.
The two methods are terror, or crisis.
Pick your poison.
