There are two distinct paths to power in the modern politics, and these are both wielded by the Left. Which one is used depends on the sort of culture and society in place.

1.Here’s the first method.

From the French Revolution on, the Left has yearned for power over the individual. The method could be called the ‘raw violence’ mode.

The French Revolution, under Robespierre interpreted violence as the ‘language’ that explained to the masses the ideals of the revolution. “If the spring of popular government in times of peace is virtue, the springs of popular government in revolution are at once virtue and terror….Terror is nothing other than justice.” Robespierre speech, February 5, 1794.

For the first time in history terror became an official government policy, with the stated aim to use violence in order to achieve a higher political goal. Unlike the later meaning of 'terrorists' as people who use violence against a government, the terrorists of the French Revolution were the government. The Terror was legal, having been voted for by the Convention.

Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun ... Mao Zedong.

Not inconsequential, we heard the same phrase from an official of the Obama Administration.

2. But it is the second path that is the modus operandum that the Democrat Party uses in America, a slightly more subtle, nuanced method. It is ‘crisis.’
They create the problem, wring-hand and amplify the crisis, and claim that only they can solve it…..at the cost of individual rights and their accumulation of power.

3. Evidence proves that Franklin Roosevelt went out of his way to advance a recession into a Depression. He used the crisis to obviate the Constitution, and bring his power closer to that of the dictators he so admired, and to punish the successful businessmen of whom he was so jealous.

4. “We began this experiment in 1933 under the pressure of an internal economic crisis. We continue and extend it under the necessities of a war crisis....It is born in crisis, lives on crisis, and cannot survive the era of crisis. By the very law of its nature it must create for itself, if it is to continue, fresh crises from year to year. …And our future is all charted out upon the same turbulent road of permanent crisis.”
John T. Flynn, "As We Go Marching," p. 256

Flynn wrote this in 1944.

5. We have lived and are living through one more example of the Democrat path to power: crisis.

This one is the pandemonium of a pandemic hoax.
The covid flu kills nearly no one who is without underlying morbidities, overweight or aged. Yet….it was enough reason for Democrats to seize control of a well-functioning economy and destroy it in the interest of gaining control of the government.

The two methods are terror, or crisis.

Pick your poison.

6. The two methods are terror, or crisis.

These methods of acquiring power, by terrorizing opponents, or by proclaiming a crisis that demands usurpation of power, pertain only to the Democrat Party.

Control of other people, and of their lives, is not a rightwing thing….unless you consider restrictions on murder and harming others as ‘control.’

The choice of the two methods is limited by the particular society in question.

‘The excesses of the European versions of were mitigated by the specific history and culture of America, Jeffersonian individualism, heterogeneity of the population, but the central theme is still an all-encompassing state that centralizes power to perfect human nature by controlling every aspect of life., albeit at the loss of what had hither fore been accepted as ‘inalienable human rights.’
Goldberg

Censoring the Hunter Biden story, and Trump’s social media access prior to the election is one of those loses of our rights that the Left uses along with the crises based on their riots and the Wuhan shut-downs.

7. These methods of acquiring power, by terrorizing opponents, or by proclaiming a crisis that demands usurpation of power, pertain only to the Democrat Party.

America’s heritage does not lend itself to the accumulation and accretion of power:

"It may be a reflection on human nature that such devices [checks and balances] should be necessary to control the abuses of government. But what is government itself but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither internal nor external controls on government would be necessary." Federalist #51

The principle of ‘liberty’ puts each of us in control of making the decisions that will affect our lives, for better of for worse. Thomas Jefferson put it like this: “It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods of no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.”

That’s individualism, not collectivism.

Individualism respects who you are.

Collectivism wants to know what you are.

8. Democrat inspiration: “Emergencies inevitably tend to concentrate power.

The shock of crisis can simultaneously inspire feats of grand statesmanship and corrode the norms of a free society. The Constitution—one of the great acts of political engineering and democratic imagination—emerged out of the tumultuous paralysis of the Articles of Confederation. The Civil War secured the Union and extended the promise of liberty, but the wartime federal government cracked down on civil liberties and suppressed some presidential critics.

Franklin Roosevelt marshaled a vast “arsenal of democracy” to confront the totalitarian threat, but his administration also pressed the rule of law to its breaking point—with internment camps, invasive state surveillance, and the use of federal agencies to harass political opponents.”
“The Perpetual Emergency”

And his Democrat Party has never relinquished either the desire for power over citizens, or the method of creating a crisis.

9. See if this sounds like Democrat's America:

“A sense of existential conflict—often accompanied by a weakening of those social institutions that encourage civic stability—can precipitate collapse. At the height of the most radical phase of the French Revolution, Robespierre appealed to a politics of existential crisis to defend mass terror and surveillance:

“The government in revolution is the despotism of liberty over tyranny.” It’s revealing that two of the principal engines of revolutionary terror during this period wrapped themselves in the language of “safety”: because of the existential threats facing the revolutionary republic, the Committee of Public Safety and Committee of General Security could spare no quarter in their prosecution of the alleged allies of tyranny.”

“ This tension between crisis and the order of liberty supplies important context for the turn to emergency politics in contemporary American life. “
The Perpetual Emergency | City Journal

If one listens closely, he can hear Robespierre applauding his spawn’s use of the Wuhan Red Death Hoax.

The Democrat’s eminently successful theft of power.

10. “A durable democracy requires a certain amount of political adrenaline, as it were, to respond to crises. But it needs other things, too. It needs moderating institutions. It needs devotion to a regime to check factional animosities among the leadership class. It needs the broader lived practices of trust and cooperation that cut against factional conflict. Emergency politics threatens all those things.”
Op.Cit.

The use of ‘crisis’ to purloin power is a mark of the extremists.

Perhaps you have inadvertently accepted the Democrat claims that it is the Republicans who are extremists and invested in “Far Right politics.” Let me dispel that at once: There is no Far Right in this country....only a Far Left.

To be "far," one's positions must be radical relative to that center. American traditions, values, and history represent that center. The Right, represented by the Republican Party, has no radial positions, none that are not consistent with America’s heritage…..but the Democrats sure do!

Republican policies reflect American heritage and tradition: traditional marriage, the nuclear family, restricting federal powers to the enumerated powers in article 1, section 8, a secure border, free speech, the second amendment, not separating citizens based on skin color, and gender represented by DNA.

And if the Far Left, the Democrat Party’s thirst for power is filled, they will end all of those.

Not sure what any of that meant.....don't care much either.

The vaccine is being distributed (makes you wonder why the Democrats are doing it if .05% of what you said was true), numbers of deaths of vaccinated persons is almost non existent statistically, only resistant masses (mostly in red states) are falling victim to the virus.

Politically, the infrastructure bill is going to get done, his approval rating is high, stimulus got done, the "border crisis" is off of the front page, your fellow blob's grip on the GOP seems to be weakening; the audits are going nowhere, and your life, jumbo, continues to be painful.

Enjoy.

DemonRats live in fear. Hide behind their masks and thick glasses. Then act tough on the internet.

I can’t wait for the Martrix. DemonRats will be the first to sign up , because they hate reality

Dissapearing a crisis from the newspapers because you control newspapers doesn’t mean the crisis is actually gone.

Im shocked you even admitted there was one.

And I work so hard to keep the language I use near two syllables for folks like you.

But....to no avail......explains why you spent your career in summer school.

OK....we'll try again.

Control, oppression, dominance is so very important to Leftists/Democrats/totalitarians.....you.....that you will do anything to gain the power you so desire.

Toward that end, these entities....
Fascists, Nazis, Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Communists, Democrats

.....use two methods to attain their ends:

Liberals, in my experience, are fearful folks who need the bodyguard of big government because they are vulnerable, battered emotional hypochondriacs....they need to insure themselves against every societal misadventure that could occur. They call that 'empathy,' but it's actually neurosis. They have some sort of metaphorical bullet lodged near their heart, just waiting for a slight move which will end it all! Thus, the overwhelming feeling of incipient failure, and apprehension. And, recognizing their own weakness, they lash out at those willing to depend on themselves.

Why are there no Leftists who an compete?????

Maybe this:

"Let me give you a little tip: if you want liberalism to continue in this country, you have to realize that liberal students are being let down by their professors! They have liberal school teachers, and read the liberal press! Because of this weak preparation, they are unable to argue, to think beyond the first knee-jerk impulse. They can’t put together a logical thought. Now, compare that to a college Republican…"
