Lord, forgive me, but I had my antenna up with a lot of others when the story about all this was changing so fast wondering if we weren't dealing with another October surprise in the form of a Jussie Smollett scenario. A scenario intended to generate sympathy and refocus attention on right wing extremist hate crimes or whatever.

I am now convinced Paul Pelosi was injured, despite the shifting accounts of what injuries he has, but I don't think we at all have the whole story on this.

It is a hoax similar to the Jussie Smollett hoax, but also different in one way:

Jussie Smollett planned his hoax for days, weeks or months before he executed the plan. This was a reactive hoax, dreamed up and executed within hours of Pelosi's husband getting caught fighting the gay prostitute in his home. The Democratic Hoax Machine jumped into action without hesitation.

In a way, I admire them. If I got a call just after 2:00 AM that my wife was caught fighting with a lesbian escort, could I think that fast? I doubt it, and Nancy Pants couldn't either of course.

Most likely it was a "journalist" who came up with this, taking one step out of the process, the coordination with the media. I'm guessing that Nancy called one of her media activists and that activist had a lightbulb go off and pulled this stunt.

Who let the police in? All the televised news conferences have said is the 'somebody' opened the door and the police saw the two struggling with a hammer in the entryway. Who opened the door and wouldn't that person be an important material witness?

The media has not said and seems to be entirely uncurious about all that. So it looks like we have a situation of not journalism but gossip - OR - the police and media have been instructed in what they are allowed to report.

And once their narrative of the assailant being a rightwing Trump and Q supporting nutjob fell apart, they don't seem to be very interested in reporting it at all anymore.

At least one account even said DePape did housesitting for the Pelosi's before. Several reports quote Paul Pelosi and Nancy Pelosi saying he was a 'friend'. How much can we trust the reporting at this time?

I would respect Nancy's request for privacy at this time, but the leftist looney press made that impossible once they tried to drag Trump and 'fascist' MAGAs into the story when there is zero valid evidence for that. Why isn't the media curious and reporting on whomever set up the fake websites trying to portray DePape as a right wing extremist?
